Greetings my dudes/dudettes, I come with good news!
I've completed transitioning Book 1 and 2's handwritten dialogue into legible text. There were no big changes to the story, but the dialogue has improved drastically with the text versions; feel free to go back and see how it looks.
Also It has come to my attention that there's a competition going on that Aegis has landed in the top 5 of. They're selecting the winner through an online poll in the forums. I'm not telling you guys, "oh, go vote for me!" But...Y'know, feel free if you want.

Anyways, thank you guys for your attention! I'm gonna head to class now.
A Teaser image for another comic series, because I'm totally not busy enough with life and Aegis. I'm probably just going to finish the first chapter and then leave it to gather dust for 400 years...rip
Just a small notice that I've went back and updated pages 7 and 8 of Book 1. What I did was remove all the song lyrics and all references of the song.
When I first started making the story, I thought that something cool to do was to bring in real-world music into a fictional, fantastical setting, and I made up some backstory that there was a secret Voyager 3 spacecraft that left Earth, which the people of Mylur somehow got their hands on, yada yada yada. It was a stylistic choice back then. It's also one of those things that make sense to young, past you, but seems like the most terrible idea ever to current, older you. I got rid of it.
One reason was that, in the scenario of the audience being thrown into a strange world, those familiar tunes would be something for them to latch onto. Another reason was that I construct scenes and story progression in accordance to the music that I listen to, and regular music seeped into some of my scene-making. The problem is that...Well, everybody's doing it now. All the movies and TV shows and other media are doing this thing where they inject music into their scenes, and the trend even has a name: "Needle Dropping". I just want to...avoid following that trend. I don't know...Now I'm thinking about its viability again. As far as Fantasy goes, I feel like Mylur is actually a suitable setting for something like a needle drop...
