I'm just gonna make a quick update, but I'm gonna hold off on doing any major updates/announcements unless I know it's set in stone. I seem to be cursed with having to deal with personal things/sickness not too long after an announcement each time : | But I can assure that the series is still being worked on. Anyway I felt it was appropriate to at least have this down. Thank you for still reading, everyone.

Hey fellas, I'm back-ish. The hiatus might have to last a bit longer, honestly my cold was probably the worst cold I ever had in my life (thankfully not covid, I got tested) but it did put me completely off track for the year start.
After some thought, I decided to continue the comic end of March/April. Reasons being I would like to work on my buffer and not feel rushed. I still want to deliver good consistency.
Another reason is because a lot of the upcoming pages are going to have animation in them! When it starts up again, I will stick to my previously mentioned update schedule (every thursday) Anyways this is all I have to report on, hope everyone has a nice february.

I've given it some thought, and I think I was too overzealous for announcing 2 updates per week lol. For the time being I think I'm going to stick to Thursday only updates xD but I won't do 1 single page updates like I used to do sometimes long time ago.
I want to keep the episodes longer since this website caters a bit more to vertical reading (which I don't mind, but the reason older episodes were so chopped up was from being read horizontally. Back then it had the standard format which by clicking next it would make characters look like it was animated.) I'm still using some energy as mentioned before, to work on illustrations and prints/merch stuff.
After I hit a proper "to be continued" spot on my comic (which is roughly 100 pages from now) I'll be taking a few months "break" from the comic (actual break will be shorter bc I'm going to be using some of this time to help create a buffer lol) the next segment after the current one will be interesting. It's going to be more animated and I'll be needing that time to make it all nice and THEN.... I can do the 2 weeks updates :D
It may be subject to change because idk what'll happen between now and the future but how it stands right now is doable!

Thank you!! I'm doing well, it was harder to assess my limits earlier but after a few weeks of posting, I now know my limits xD
Just a reminder that the update is tomorrow! Also I've been thinking and I might instead do two updates per week, monday and thursday starting next week. They'll probably be smaller uploads but I feel like it'd help me with my workflow tbh.
Also at the end of each month I'll be posting raw (but shrunken) psd files, layers and all, of my favourite comic pages on my ko-fi (same name). I can't go too far back due to data loss but I can upload some older pages as well down the road. Hope y'all have a good day!

The newest chapter update is now scheduled to release this coming monday!! After that, I will probably do 1 weekly update every thursday.

I'm going through some personal stress right now, but I'm still working on everything I mentioned previously. I'll have to delay the update to next week. I'll post more pages to make up for it

Thank you : ] I still feel fairly passionate, and I'm able to keep working on things, but I am going a bit slower than anticipated. It's a bit hard to gauge when I can precisely put things out because of some things going on in my irl, though luckily I have some things already completed!!
The update is coming this month. Aiming for next week. Just a couple more pages then I can put my buffer up! I ended up taking the majority of the year due to putting a lot of (painstaking) detail in my pages, along with... believe it or not... MERCH. Yep, I have dived into the world of merchin'.
They're in the process of being produced but I've made some of the comic characters (both present and upcoming) for now it'll be things like prints, keychains and stickers. I plan to make maybe a notebook too (because dream journal :Y get it? bc) and a bunch of other stuff.
I'll be posting more here soon https://ko-fi.com/devselia I'll post things like wip processes, patterns and brushes. My shop will be available soon as well. Again support goes a long way as for this part in the comic, I'm working my lonesome : o I still see people are reading, liking and leaving comments and I thank you a lot. Seeing the engagement motivates me more to deliver.

UPDATE: So my process is gonna be a bit slow honestly ^^;. Initially I've wanted to post my big update in February, but my family got sick during the holidays (then I did too) then became neck deep into other obligations. I'm going to try still post something in February, but it won't be the "big" update. I'll probably make a buffer until I'm up to speed. Anyways, that's all the news for now, see you soon.
