A big thank you to all readers who participated in the comment contest. Reading all your funny and creative ideas was so much fun. It also made it very hard to choose only two winners 😅💦
But in the end, I had to make a decision, so congratulations to kaz (zacksnelson) and Blip (coinblip12) for winning the contest! 🥳🎉 By now, you should've already received your ink price.
And again, a big thank you to everyone for your support! 💖
Inksgiving is over and I'm speechless because I didn't expect it to be such a huge success. Scrolling through the seemingly endless list of your support and reading your cute messages warms my heart and motivates me to keep on working. Thank you so much, everyone! 🥰❤
PS: My comment contest ends tomorrow. If you haven't already, please check it out for a chance to win 500 ink.
hello! I just wanted to say that I love your comic so much >u<
I was wondering if maybe you were thinking about doing another one and if you have any other social media where I can see your art pieces, because I just want more stuff from you, honestly!
Thank you so much! ❤
I'm currently working on another project, if you want to keep informed: I'm most active on Twitter and Instagram (my name is Askeryna everywhere).
Coarse Hands really inspires me. I look forward to it each week. What I love most is that, despite a little magic here and there, it is about very real people living mostly normal lives. It is so real and speaks to my life and what I have to go through, even though I'm not like Runa at all - I connect with her because she feels so authentic. Please keep it up!
Question: How big of a file do you begin to draw on? I work on paper now and am looking to go to digital but I don't know how big to make it before reducing it for internet publication.
Aww, thanks for taking the time to write such nice words. It really warms my heart to read comments like yourse and motivates me to work on my projects!
The file size I work with is A4 with 300dpi, since I want to print the comic in A5 (= half the size of A4). So it just depends on want you want to do with your comic in the future. If you just want to publish it online size doesn't really matter, if you want to print it, you have to know the final size (+ bleeds). Hope I could help you! If you have more questions feel free to ask them, but keep in mind that I'm still new to the whole thing, haha ;;;;
Look at what Sky and Cosmos drew me - my dear Runa! She looks so cute and the nice comments about Coarse Hands make me feel warm all over...! 💖
Thank you so much!!
