The dragon stalked through the flames, blue scales shimmering like the ocean surging against the shore. "I hate pests," the dragon hissed, turning it's gaze on the girl with the sword. "And you're the worst of them. You may have escaped from me years ago, but today is the day I finally crush you."
The girl readied herself into a fighting stance and pointed her sword at the dragon. "You can try." With a casual flick of the claw, the dragon sent a surge of ice across the courtyard. Ice crept up her leg and bound her to the ground. She struck it with her sword, but the ice held firm. The dragon roared and leapt towards her, teeth bared. I reached for my Ocean Dragongift and dispersed my will through the ice. The ice melted and she managed to break free and dodge the attack in time.
The dragon spun around. "You!" An angry hiss that sounded like hail crashing against the ground.
"Me! Been a while, huh?" I waved and forced a smile onto my face. "Shall we dance?"
