Clyde is a down-on-their-luck college student who struggles to pursue photography while also balancing school, work, bills, and a general start on adulthood.
One night, they venture outside the town of Rochord, Wyoming, to take some pictures of the few abandoned mansions and homes built when the town was first founded. Following an unfortunate series of events, Clyde falls through the old floors and discovers a vampire locked away in a sarcophagus. They (albeit unknowingly) release the creature named Vincent, and Clyde is spared.
Though it's not the last time they meet, as Vincent's recklessness draws the attention of a supernatural-hunting officer. Weak from a century long slumber (and a trippy first meal), Vincent can't comprehend the modern technology that surrounds him. Seeing as Clyde is the person who freed him from his prison, Vincent runs to them for help.
Now wrapped up in Vincent's shenanigans, Clyde finds out the truth about their small town and their family history, while encountering creatures thought only to be myth.
