The Roots of the Family Tree (Part 1). Aunt Penny is having none of this kids' nonsense.
Just a heads up: word balloons can either be spoken word or ASL (American Sign Language) or both depending on the character/context. Aunt Penny is deaf, so she'll be speaking entirely in ASL. Since the family is fluent in ASL, everyone will be signing in her presence.
Thanks for reading and welcome to the new series! Huge thanks to all of you who have read Monkey Bunny and inspired this next chapter (if you're new to the series, don't worry, this is a standalone series, so you don't have to read my other series (The Unstoppable Monkey Bunny) to know what's going on).
MASSIVE thanks to my wife who has read SO many drafts of SO many scripts from this saga. She has spared all y'all from my crappiest ideas/dialogue with her ever present, ever patient, most considerate feedback. She's both mine (and my characters') best advocate. Thank you. Love.
