Prologue.
In a world where light and darkness coexist in a delicate balance, two souls destined to hate each other find themselves trapped in a spell that defies the very rules of their existence. This is the story of Elara, a fairy of radiant light; and Azazel, a demon of abysmal shadows.
Elara, with her shining wings and pure heart, had lived her entire life in the golden forest of Mel, a place full of magic and life. Her laughter resonated like crystal bells, and her presence brought hope and joy to all beings in the forest. For her, love was a sacred concept, blameless and always full of light.
Azazel, on the other hand, came from the depths of darkness. He was feared by many, for the reputation he had earned caused even those brave enough to meet his gaze to end up turned to ashes.
Azazel, with his black wings and fiery eyes, struck terror into the hearts of those who found him. He had spent centuries alone, exiled by his own people as a way to protect himself.
He had been sealed in an abyss of darkness and doom in the center of the earth, feeding on fear and despair, never knowing the warmth of true love.
Fate, however, had other plans. An ancient conflict between their clans led them to cross paths, when Elara mistakenly ended up getting lost on their way, thus arriving, through the sands of time, at that abyss of darkness in the center of the earth where Azazel was exiled...
During a fight between the two, he managed to escape, but so did she, and although they never met in person, the force that resonated in their souls was engraved in each other; and some time later, in the heat of a battle, their eyes met.
In that instant, something changed. A spark of curiosity, an inexplicable magnetic connection arose between them, challenging everything they had thought they knew about each other.
Amidst wars and conflicts, betrayals and secrets, Elara and Azazel began to discover that their differences were as intense as their similarities.
There was something that united them, and even though they apparently hated and wanted to destroy each other, their souls did not think the same way, which led them to an internal condemnation because fairies and demons should not mix...
And because of that, they faced the prejudices of their worlds and the tests that destiny imposed on them. Their love, born of adversity, became a powerful force capable of challenging the laws established by their worlds and the very nature of internal and external struggles, where light and darkness intertwine in an eternal dance.
It is a reminder that sometimes love can be strong enough to break all the rules and unite two souls that were destined to meet, no matter what barriers stand in their way, because when something is meant to happen, it will simply happen under any circumstances, no matter how much time passes or how many times you try to escape destiny…
