It was cold. It was always cold. How the biting air would sink into each layer and wait for your next move. The breeze, strong like a bear, pushing back anything that dares pass it. Most beings react by shielding themselves by staying inside their shelters of wood and stone. They would get the kindling and strip the tree's of their covers. The smoke would rise over into the sky, joining it's slightly lighter cousins. Oh how some crave this warmth. They would rather have 30 minutes of wonderful than a life full of nothing, envying the warmth that the other beings achieved for years.
William thought otherwise than envying.
William just wanted to be where the people were.
But he couldn't. For he was different.
His kind are blood thirsty, cold, bitter, greedy, and dangerous beast. Well... Except for William.
William was not a normal Wendigo like the others.
All he wanted
Was to be warm
and
happy...
