Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy this story!
No but this is amazing! Tabitha seems so sweet 💜 I'm dying to see what happens!!
Though, I do wonder if the number of transmascs wearing full suits might make up for the number of transfemmes wearing dresses, so they might cancel each other out in fabric sales? Then again, maybe some people had to lead double lives, meaning they had wardrobes full of both... Then again, there's also enbies like me not knowing wtf to wear 😂😅
Really got me thinking with this! Going to go do some resear---
Manchester 1887.
In the shadow of the towering cotton mills, working as a tailor in a city known for its textile industry has proven to be a lucrative career, so far. This should only become more so as the city grows in both size and influence.
However, despite the population growth, Tabitha has been meeting fewer and fewer people ‘like her’. When she first visited the Molly house a great many years ago, she was overwhelmed with the sense of belonging. She finally felt like she’d found her people. Nowadays, her table there is seldom occupied by anyone other than herself and her dear friend, Rosa.
With the increase in raids on Molly houses leading to a decrease in attendance, Tabitha sets out to show the scared members of her community that they’re not alone with help from an unexpected source.
