A little info about me:
Hi everyone. I would like to invite you to read one of my older works, The Swordmasters’ Legacy (TSL). This series was self-published as an eBook quite a while ago. In fact, all my stories before joining Tapas were self-published as eBooks, with the exception of the two stories I created here (The Hundredfold Haven and The Cycle of Life).
I have given up on self-publishing my stories as eBooks and quit the self-publishing site altogether (which I had been using for the past 8 years, and also I didn’t meet the criteria to earn my first paycheck 😢). Anyway, God willing, I hope to finish the series here or on other online sites.
So please enjoy my stories. At least on an online platform, there will be readers who will read and comment on them, and I’ll know whether my stories are good or bad. Both gives me a sort of motivation to write further.
About TSL series
There are 3 books, in which book Two is divided to 2 parts.
1) The Crimson Maiden (TCM)
2) The Elemental Masters (TEM)
a) Ariandor’s Arc
b) Mirrindor’s Arc
3) Dark Kingdom (DK)
I will not create a new book entry but will bundle them together. So if you like the series, just subscribe to this one book, TSL. Additionally, I couldn’t release the whole TCM because I need to make changes to it, it have a new cover, editing, and adjusting the chapter lengths to meet the requirements here (since 80% of the original chapters are very long). Each chapter will consist of between 1.5K and 2.3K words. So it will be different from the original.
The first release is 3 chapters, followed by around 10 chapters, and then 2 or 3 chapters per week on Sunday or Monday.
Things to note
There are a few things you should know as you read TSL:
1. Kingdoms and Locations: There are two kingdoms, Ariandor and Mirrindor, and three floating island archipelagos. The archipelagos are located apart from each other. The Stegia Archipelago, where Heincraft Academy is located, and the Fervia Archipelago, where Ariandor’s capital city, Nova Aeria, is located, and this two belong to Ariandor. The third, the Horlodor Archipelago belongs to Mirrindor, with its capital city being Nova Autus. The Lower Earth cities and towns are under the jurisdiction of the two kingdoms.
2. The Crafts: You will come across individuals with surnames ending in “craft.” These people are the descendants of Heroes (Swordmasters) who battled and stopped the Ancient Evil from enveloping the realms in darkness. These Crafts are mostly nobles, but there are also common people who hide their lineage.
3. Elemental Swordmasters: To be recognized by the Elementals and wield the power of the elements, one must be a full-blooded Craft. Not all Crafts are blessed to be Elemental Swordmasters, and not all Elemental Swordmasters have an elemental beast as their familiar. Elemental beasts are only drawn to Swordmasters who share their element. The strength of the Elemental Swordmaster also matters; weaker Elemental Swordmasters will not have an elemental beast. Additionally, Elemental Swordmasters can have similar elemental powers as one another.
4. Creatures of the Floating Islands: There are three types of creatures on the floating islands: Mythical Beasts, Legendary Beasts, and Elemental Beasts. Mythical Beasts cannot live on Lower Earth, but Lower Earth creatures, such as horses, can be brought to the floating islands.
Okay guys, that’s all for the introduction to this series, which I consider the best story I've come up with so far. I probably couldn’t create another story of the same caliber as TSL. Honestly, it could be turned into a fantasy movie due to its storyline, and I hope there will be a producer or publisher among you readers. 😊
Lastly, a few readers have told me they were surprised to find out who the antagonist of The Swordmasters’ Legacy Series is. Until now, no one has managed to guess the person, though I have included hints. So be the first to solve the mystery! 👍
Thanks and happy reading.
