It goes without saying that millions of people in the world hate their jobs. The monotone blandness of working a nine to five on a daily basis is sure to drive a few people insane. However, a lot of them may not take into consideration the relative safety they have. Sure, being someone like a police officer or a firefighter is particularly dangerous, especially in this day and age. But do they ever consider the bigger dangers? The dangers that they have probably never seen?

My name is Edward Oswald, and I am a member of the Monster Cops Organization. Our job is simple. Keep the public safe from the unworldly horrors that roam the shadows of humanity. You may think we’re just a bunch of crazies hunting for proof of Bigfoot or aliens. You’re right to an extent, but if it wasn’t for us, there would probably be some creature gnawing on your face right now. Be thankful.

Now, why am I telling you all this? Well, this is an exclusive look inside of what we do. As I said, we are merely an organization of monster hunters, and there are a lot of monsters in the world. You will be allowed to read a collection of stories and analysis of operations, hunts, and some monsters themselves. My only advice? Don’t get too attached to anyone. With a job like this, death comes more frequently than your coffee breaks.

If you’re ever interested in becoming a monster hunter, don’t. That’s my advice. But I hope you enjoy it anyway. Who knows. Maybe I’ll be one of the people in this collection. After all, I have stories to tell of my own.
