‘She’s such a sweet girl.’ Nicholas Fisher thinks about his neighbour, the shy Annalise Smith, a beautiful blonde with bright blue eyes. ‘We haven’t spoken to each other very much but….’ Nicholas thinks as he sips his coffee. Looking back on their conversations, despite her awkward demeanour he is intrigued by her. ‘I know she likes me…’ He says contemplating his feelings.
‘He’s so handsome…’ Annalise thinks as she sighs in regret. ‘Why can’t I have a proper conversation with him?’ She thinks back to the conversation with her neighbour Nicholas Fisher. ‘His soft brown eyes…his amazing brown hair… and the way he smiles.’ It was rare for someone to make an effort to make Annalise feel conformable and Nicholas did exactly that. ‘If only I didn’t fall for him, I wouldn’t be this nervous….’ Annalise says as she sighs and lies down on her bed.
‘Why did she leave me…’ Benjamin MacLerie thinks as he finishes his drink, his black hair messed up and his green eyes filled with tears. He sits at the bar with his best friend, Hugh Tompkins Jr. as he watches his friend drink his sorrows away. ‘Why wasn’t I good enough for her…’ Benjamin thinks to himself unable to remember the happy times he had with his ex-wife. The sole memory of her leaving him kept replying in his mind as he continues to sob.
Trying to deal with the problems at hand, each person tries to do what they think is best. But sometimes one good deed can lead to something much more than one can handle. From delightful conversations to disastrous situations, the change that can be brought from one chance encounter can impact not only one’s actions but one’s feelings.
