Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節) is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Lunar calendar when the moon is said to be the brightest and roundest. During this time we eat mooncakes, play with lanterns and do moon viewing as part of the festivities.
As Mid Autumn festival is coming soon, I figured I would illustrate one of the most well known legends about it in hopes of sharing my culture with you all.
