Before
May Rosefield was not your typical 13 years old. For one she loathed Fortnite. And she had a cat. Ok, a lot of people had cats so that's not that important. Yawning wide, she walked over to her mirror to brush her hair. She looked the same as ever, ivory skin, green eyes, ginger/brown hair.
She went down for breakfast. Oh, and another thing: her mother is dead. Today for breakfast was bacon, chocolate pancakes, and eggs: in other words her favorite breakfast ever. “ Thank you!” she said gazing at her father, Cole. “Your welcome” he responded “Plus, it's your first day of school!” he added.
May opened the door. Today she was worried. Not because it was the first day of school, no, she was not worried about that at all, but today she felt that something was at fault. She sighed and walked on. She wished her father could drive her to school or at least walked with her but today as soon as he gave her breakfast he left for work early. “ May.” a voice called. She shook her head she must be imagining things. “ May!” the voice called again. It sounded a lot like her friend Dawn Barnes. But no, Dawn moved away last week. “MAY!” the voice called right in her ear. “WHAT THE HELL!” May yelled, and spun around and punched a girl right in the face.
