Blake was the first one to enter the apartment. He already regrets letting his brother talk him into this…. Sure the rent in the area is high, but they could just find a cheaper place, or Blake could pick up another job or even more hours. Instead, Lucius insisted the two of them get a place with two other roommates, which they still haven't met.
As the first occupant to arrive due to Lucius having work and the others not moving until tomorrow, Blake frets for half an hour over which room to claim. Finally he decides on the small one next to the bathroom. It's tucked away from most of the rest of the apartment and he didn't really need much space. He also hoped leaving the larger rooms for the others might help keep him out of their bad graces. He always got anxious about how others saw him and only Lucius could usually calm him down. That was probably why he was going along with this. If he didn't, he'd have to find his own place without his brother.
Blake starts bringing up their stuff from his car, stacking Lucius’ boxes in the living room. Lucius would be bringing the rest of it, including the furniture, after he finished work, so after his car was empty Blake sat on his new room’s floor unpacking his stuff. He did what he could to make the space familiar, trying to not let the silence cause him to overthink. If he had an attack without Lucius there, who knows how long he'd be stuck that way. He decided to turn on some music as soon as he unpacked his radio.
The Blake that greeted Luce when he arrived hours later was much more calm. Lucius took one look at him and sighed before saying “do you want to help me bring up the rest of the stuff?”
“Sure, Bro. Anything for my second favorite guy.” He started walking down to the parked moving van with Lucius chasing after him.
“Wait, second? Who's your favorite?” Blake stopped and turned to him with a teasing grin.
“Nah-uh, I'm not telling.”
“I could make you…” Blake just glared daggers at him. “Okay, okay, you know I won't. I promise no more personal questions for today.”
The rest of the moving in was uneventful. Lucius decided on the room right off of their kitchen and insisted that most of his stuff could be unpacked tomorrow. When everything else was relatively taken care of, Lucius made some Earl Grey tea for them. As they sat down, he calmly asked what had been on his mind since his brother greeted him.
“Hey, Blake, you had another panic attack, didn't you?” Blake's sheepish nod was enough conformation. “You should have called me… I could have tried to calm you down.”
“You were at work. You know how I hate to bother.”
“When will you get it through your skull… YOU. ARE. NOT. A. BOTHER.” He pinched the bridge of his nose, pushing his glasses up slightly in the process. “Whatever, just make sure to write it down in your journal.”
“Okay, whatever you say, Dad.” Blake sarcastically muttered as he slinks to his room.

Dewi softly enters his new home early in the morning, careful to not disturb his future roommates as he doesn't know what their schedules are like yet. He is surprised to find two practically identical boys his age already awake and eating breakfast at the counter between the kitchen and living room. The biggest differences between the two boys is that their hair colors are total opposites and one is wearing glasses. The dark haired one notices his presence first and gives him a nervous smile. The one with glasses notices this and turns to Dewi.
“Oh, you must be one of our roommates. I'm Lucius, though you can call me Luce, and this is my brother, Blake. It's so good to meet you. Do you want some breakfast? I made enough if you want any..” Dewi just stares for a moment before answering.
“Oh, um, sure. Can I borrow one of your plates? Mine are still packed, of course.”
“Go ahead. They're in the second cabinet from the right. The silverware is the drawer next to the sink.” The brothers go back to their food while Dewi grabs a plate and fork, serves himself some food, and sits down with them.
“I'm Dewi, by the way. Thanks for the food, I kind of left my old place in a rush and forgot to eat.” He shoots a sheepish smirk.
Blake, who had been quiet up until now, stands up and carries his empty plate to the sink. “Sorry to rush out so quickly, but I have to get to work.” Contrast to his brother's bubbling voice, Dewi notices that Blake's voice is a mellowed calm.
“It's okay, Bro, I've got the dishes. You just have a good day at work. Oh, and remember to call me if anything happens.”
Blake seems just done with his brother as he heads to his room to get ready. “I'll be fine. Man, you're worse than Mom.” He comes back out a few minutes later and grabs his carrier bag and phone before hurrying out the door, but not before calling over his shoulder. “It was nice to meet you, Dewi.”
Once his brother is gone, Luce turns to Dewi. “So, Blake and I already picked out our rooms, but the two rooms off the living room are still available. You can claim your room now or wait for the last guy to get here. Either way, I don't have work for a few hours so I can help you bring stuff up if you want.”
“Oh, thanks. I guess I'll take a peek at the rooms before I decide. Then I guess I would love your help in carrying some of my stuff up.” After looking at both rooms, Dewi decides he likes the slightly smaller room due to the view but figures he will make sure their final roommate doesn't want it before unpacking his stuff. The next few hours are spent moving Dewi in and him trying to find out more about his twin roommates. Blake splits his working time between the local library and the nearby Hot Topic. The way Luce explains it, Dewi gets the feeling Blake overworks himself to feel like less of a burden. On the other hand, Luce is a waiter at a kids’ pizzeria and he seems to adore his job. The two of them had moved out of their parents’ place a few years ago simply for the extra independence. Lucius admits that since moving out he probably became more protective and overbearing towards his brother because… well, Dewi doesn't know. Luce cuts himself off right before saying why, other than mentioning Blake having some “condition”, and then avoids the topic afterwards. The only thing Dewi can gather is that while Luce has always been overprotective of Blake due to whatever his “condition” is, his protective instincts went into overdrive without their parents around.
The whole situation makes him more curious about these siblings, but he doesn't want to upset people he will be living with by prying too much. It helps take away the temptation when Luce leaves saying he has to meet up with Blake for his lunch break between jobs before going to his own job.
“I work late tonight, but I'll bring home pizza for anyone who's still up. If you could let our other roommate know to leave Blake alone when he gets home, that would be appreciated.”
“Sure, will do.”
“Thanks! See you tonight.” And with that, Dewi is left alone. With nothing better to do for now, he sets up the TV and DVD player in the living room before digging through one of his boxes for a movie. After finding the right one he sits on a beanbag and starts watching.

Just after lunch, Satoshi uses his foot to knock on his new apartment door since his hands are full. When there's no response, he tries again a little louder. Just as he's about to set his box down to open the door himself, said door swings open. The blonde on the other side carefully takes his box and sets it on a nearby counter before turning back towards him.
“Hi, Roomie, you're the last one to arrive. I'm Dewi, by the way, nice to meet you.”
“Satoshi. Likewise.” He looks around the apartment, noting Beauty and the Beast playing on the large TV in the living room. “Where are the other two?”
“They both have work right now. I don't know when Blake gets out, but Luce said he'll be home really late. Oh, Luce also said to give Blake his space when he gets home. He works two jobs so he's probably going to be tired.”
“That sounds reasonable. Where should I put my things?”
“Oh, right, Luce and Blake moved in yesterday so they already claimed their rooms, but I figured I'd see which room you want before unpacking.”
After showing Satoshi both rooms, they come to the agreement of Satoshi taking the largest one while Dewi gets the one he wanted. Dewi offers to help him bring up his stuff, but Satoshi says he's just going to bring in a little at a time. “This box is enough for now. The rest can wait until I go to my car next.”
Dewi shrugs, moves a few of his boxes to his room, and settles down to watch the end of his movie. “If you want to join me, you can pick out the next movie. They're over there.” He gestures to one of the boxes he didn't move. Satoshi browses the box before taking out Tangled with a smile as the Beast transforms into a prince on the television screen. Once the credits roll, he switches the movie and sits down as well. They spend the next hours watching movies, taking turns picking out the next one. Sleeping Beauty is halfway over when the door opens. The movie watchers turn to the door.
“Oh, you must be Satoshi. It's nice to meet you, I'm Blake.”
“A pleasure to meet you as well.”
“I'm glad you're both here, Luce wanted me to ask you guys what kind of pizza you like.” Satoshi looks a bit confused, but Dewi suddenly remembers why he would want such information.
“I'm good with anything but I love sausage, bacon and pepperoni.” Turning to his confused companion, he explains “Lucius works at a pizzeria and seems he gets great employee discounts. He said he's bringing pizza home tonight.”
“In that case, something with veggies would be preferable, though I don't have any dietary restrictions so anything is fine.”
“Okay, I'll let him know...umm…” Blake shifts, like he doesn't know what to do next. Dewi comes to his rescue.
“You're probably tired, right? Don't mind us. Feel free to go rest if you want or you're always welcome to join us.” He points to the paused movie. “Aurora is just about to fall asleep herself.” Blake gives Dewi a grateful smile.
“Thanks. I think I will stay out here with you for awhile.” He sets down his bag on a counter, checks that his phone is in his pocket, and grabs an unlabelled bottle from the fridge, before collapsing on the couch. He takes out his phone and sends his brother a text while Dewi presses play.
When Dewi turns to offer Blake choice of the next movie, he sees they have their own sleeping beauty on their hands. He turns to Satoshi for guidance.
“What should we do? Just leave him like that?”
“Well, he'll probably hurt his neck sleeping like that…. He would most likely sleep better on a bed.”
“If I remember correctly, Luce said the door beside the bathroom is Blake's room. I think I can carry him if you open the door and make sure nothing is in my way.” Dewi doesn't know where this plan came from or why he thinks it's a good idea, but he's already picking up the sleeping boy before he even starts thinking about it. He never does things like this, but it is like something is compelling him. It feels so natural he doesn't think to question it.
Blake doesn't stir until Dewi sets him down. He opens an eye and gets an expression that's a mix of happiness and confusion. “What are you doing here, Dewi?”
“You fell asleep on the couch. I figured you'd be more comfortable on your own bed.”
“Oh, thanks Dew. You're the best.” He then rolls over and goes back to sleep. His roommates quietly leave his room to go back to their movie marathon.
An hour and a half hours later, a much more agitated Blake shuffles out of his room. Satoshi sees him first due to the angle of his seat. “Look who's up. How was your nap?”
He ignores the question. “Which of you was it? Which did my brother ask to take care of me?” It is at that moment that said brother walks through the door. Talk about bad timing, all Blake's irritation redirects towards him. “I told you to stop doing this. I don't need someone taking care of me all the time.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Which of them did you ask to be my babysitter?”
“Neither. Did you ever consider they're just nice?”
“I don't believe you. You always ask people to take care of me. You can't trust me to not need help.” Something suddenly catches Lucius’ attention and he becomes focused.
“Did you take your medicine?”
“Some of it…”
“I'm not talking with you anymore until you take your meds and calm down.” He stares intently into Blake's eyes. “Go take your medicine, Brother.” Blake visibility deflates before grabbing the bottle he had been drinking earlier and mutely walks into his room. Turning to his other roommates, Luce smiles widely. “So, who wants pizza?”
