My name is A.R. Walker, and I REALLY like to write. However, as much as I love all my characters, all my settings, and all my stories, sometimes I DO get burned out. But, uh, my burnout is a little different. To solve MY burnout (maybe others do too, idk) I like to write MORE stories. Exchange them here and there, get a taste of some more flavors if that makes sense.
No? That's okay; I'm still figuring it out myself XD
Point is, I write a lot. I have a TON of ideas and when I'm feeling burnout on my main series here on Tapas (The Fourth Verse and Behind Violet Irises, for example) I need a chance of pace. I do this by writing bits and pieces of the plethora of stories I have at my disposal.
So, you may be asking how this series works. The description was...a little vague.
Well, my plan with this series is to upload a chapter whenever I'm done with it. Again, I only really write tidbits of each story, but it's enough to put meat on the bones of each book. The first actual chapter for this, uh, "series" will be from my zombie apocalypse story, Beneath Decay. There's another chapter from my post-apocalyptic story, From Ash Unto Snow and one from my fantasy story, The Mourning Dove's Melancholy that I'd like to upload as soon as they're done. And THEN, yes, there's more, I have a collection of chapters from a shot at a mystery/detective drama that I attempted a while ago called Beauty of the Soul.
Each episode name will be the name of whatever story it's coming from. I gave all of these examples to kind of show you the layout of my contents for this series. So, starting again with Beneath Decay, here's the example:
Episode 1: Welcome to Rehersal
Episode 2: Beneath Decay
Episode 3: The Mourning Dove's Melancholy
Episode 4: Beauty of the Soul
Episode 5: Beauty of the Soul
Episode 6: Beauty of the Soul
Episode 7: From Ash Unto Snow
Episode 8: The Mourning Dove's Melancholy....
And so on, so forth.
Now, that's not the actual publishing schedule, it was just nice having the stories for demonstration purposes ^~^
Remember to like and comment on the episodes of interest to you. Again, this is a really good way for me to decide which story to start when my others are finished, and I'd love feedback!!! Most of these are first drafts at best, rough outlines at worse and it'll help me ahead of time to know your opinions <3
I will say I don't always explain myself as well as I'd like, so if you
have any questions, please leave them in the comments so I can answer
them and maybe even update this episode. (Also, I feel like I should point out that, yes, the title is spelled wrong on purpose. This is a "trial run" series, so it's not polished or properly edited, so the title reflects the rough writing <3) Thank you for following Rehersals and it'd be great if you shared it around! The more eyes, the better!
A collection of chapters for books I'd like to work on in the future. These always give me the breath of fresh air I need to rejuvenate my creative juices for my more regular stories. Most of them already have content and I figured it was time to share them. With this series, I'm kind of testing the waters and seeing what my readers would like to see from me next. (Also, I feel like I should mention, the title IS SPELLED WRONG on purpose)
Right now, I have three main series I'm focusing on (The Colony Trilogy, The Fourth Verse Trilogy, and Hand In Hand) but as soon as a project is finished (or is close to being finished) I'd love to have material at the tip of my fingers. Each chapter will be named the series it's from to keep track for those of you who decide this catch-and-release kind of thing is for you. Thank you for liking, commenting, and subscribing <3
***Please note: I write a lot of dark subject matter. Many of my stories involve adult content not suited for a younger audience, so viewer discretion is advised.***
