Fun facts about this episode:
1)Redbrooke used to have the name "Haru" before I decided that was stupid and cliche. We don't need any more Harus (though the ones we have are often lovely). Redbrooke sounds cooler. Plus, I think it conveys his vibe a lot better.
2) Redbrooke is actually mixed race. However, he--quite fittingly--dyes his hair bright red.
3)The dumbass' name is Kitsan! (Kit-sahn) But even though he's a grown man, everyone calls him "Kitty" for some reason. I wonder what that's all about. Awfully rude.
4) "Ea" is just pronounced "E". That's his whole name. I'm serious
Nameless is just one of many government-sanctioned sorcerer's militias. It is incredibly powerful--especially when their trainees and licensed sorcerers are combined-- and despite being approved by the government, they have publicly declared themselves a "neutral party". One man is in the one of the six core cities, Luckybird, recruiting new trainees. Meanwhile, a young pickpocket mulls about the city's slums: a crime-filled industrial area built on the ashes of a tragedy, dubbed "Level Zero" by the city councilmen. This is the story of that young man, Redbrooke, and, quite appropriately, it starts at zero.
