When meeting Ingo and Jess, the kids are on their way to the academy, choosing to walk for a bit so they can just mess around a little. Sarah goes after a houndour puppy but slips and falls, Prima and Zephyr follow after to try and help her up, but end up running into the level 50 houndoom and its pack, causing the kids to run deeper into the cavern to try and find a way out. Zephyr sends Thief to go get help, and Thief happens upon Ingo and Jess, stealing the man's hat to get him to follow to where the kids are pokemon battling to hold off the pack of wild dog pokemon.
Jess and Ingo send their pokemon down to scare off the wild pokemon before helping them back up, and checking for injuries.
The dragons come in months later around the time of the start of the og game story, Koridon landing near Jess's house, and Maridon in the forest where Sarah finds her.
( Team Star )
Tired of Team Stars harassing behavior, especially after seeing Penny get bothered by them, Sarah decides to do something. She feels like Team Star and Team Skull are similar, and after getting the whole story from Giacomo, she doesn't want them to go down the same path, knowing that how their handling thing's is only causing more problems for everyone. She gets her friends help beating the rest of Team Star, with Nemona especially eager to help.
( Cursed Treasures )
While traveling around the region separately at times, Tobi and his friends start finding these odd metal steaks in the ground, each of them pulling one out, and eventually finding the hidden pokemon.
( Herba Mystica Route )
Zephyr is in the library looking for books about the region, and he and Arven happen to grab the same book. Zephyr freezes up a little after Arven's first reaction is to be aggressive and snappy, but he calms down when he sees that he's starting to upset Zephyr. Zephyr runs away, overwhelmed, but Arven does eventually find him another day to apologize.
Zephyr happens upon Arven while in the lake area of the region and helps him out with defeating the dragon titan pokemon, and gets his story of why he's looking for them.
( Victory Road )
Prima, Tobi and Nemona become rivals after Prima sees how strong she is during practice courses, and finds Nemonas battle style and skills to be amazing. Seeing how much fun Nemona has makes Prima want to match her, so when the treasure hunt starts, they start to battle each other often.
Tobi and Nemona were already rivals before the story started, being one of few trainers to keep up with her, but due to his studies taking priority, Tobi could not yet finish the gym challenge or battle her as often as she wanted. However only having two pokemon at the time, Tobi has not been able to defeat Nemona, but that’s only made him want to beat her all the more.
( Area Zero )
Jess can't help but feel uneasy about Sada’s behavior, and the kids reports of seeing odd looking pokemon the past few months. So taking Koridon, goes to Area Zero with Ingo to investigate with Geta’s permission, where they find out the truth.
( Roomates situation )
Sarah and Prima are roommates and are used to living together after spending an entire summer together. They bicker like sisters/
Zephyr ends up rooming with Theo and they are a bit awkward around each other but slowly get to know each other.
Ethan and Maxx are roommates and are just best friends.
Tobi had his own dorm room. Lonely bitch.
( Camping )
Ethan is really into camping because he likes how quiet it is and the nice scenery. He finds it relaxing, especially since he grew up in the more rural areas of Galar. He has a Dragazon wish list full of fancy camping gear. He and Maxx tend to like aesthetics even if they're expensive. Both enjoy the idea of trying fun cooking recipes for camping.
Theo doesn't camp much and when he does, it's with the basics and with food that's easy to pack and keep in a cooler.
Tobi is a lot more logical and practical with his camping. Since he's not a great cook, all his food tends to be camping rations and dehydrated meals. He knows a lot about camping, especially what to look for when shopping for gear for the first time or on a tight budget. He prefers practical gear that is easy to carry over fancy stuff. Something he picked up from his mother. Odds are he'll scold his friends for not being better prepared for camping when during the treasure hunt.
Prima doesn't know anything about camping, but often tries to choose aesthetics over practicality and everyday use. Sarah likes the outdoors so she does well with picking up how to camp, and Zephyr is eager to try campfire cooking.
