That was the one question going round Felix’s head the night he watched his own brother kill their parents and become carrion, a person who gains superhuman abilities in return for taking a life.
Years later, he is approached by the BIRDS (Bureau for the Investigation, Resistance, and Detention of the Supernatural) with a job offer. There has been a string of recent murders, all thought to be perpetrated by his brother, and they want his help in trying to find him.
