Hello! I'm Faded Fyre! I want to say that this is my first time writing a story online so I'm kind of nervous. I hope that you enjoy this story and stay patient with me along the way. I appreciate it if you comment, even a simple Hi.
Since I'm new to publishing on Tapas (and simply publishing in general), I want you to know that I'm trying my best.
For Lycanthrope, I want to tell you what the tags are and/or may be.
There will be violence, abuse, strong language, and toxic relationships. But there will be friendship, caring characters, and support. This story is a dark romance/dark fantasy, mxm, supernatural, lycanthrope, werewolf, and some horror/thriller perhaps.
All the mature scenes should not be romanticized, especially when it involves non-consensual actions. I am not romanticizing these as well.
All the characters' names, places (cities/locations/etc.), and others are all fantastical and coincidental. The story takes place in a made-up city called Maes Chwarae'r Diafol (or MCD) somewhere in made-up New York City.
I will try to update as soon as I can. It won't necessarily be a fixed update, but it won't be extreme waits. Please be patient and I will try my best to provide you with a good story.
Thank you!
EDIT:
I want to explain some more things before this becomes an issue later on. Yes, Paradox is 17 years old. Yes, I get that he's a minor. No, he's not being groomed by Cyrus. In the Lycan World (Byd Cyntaf), 16 is considered to be an adult because that's when an (Lycan) Omega will (usually) go into heat. During this time of their first heat, that's when they are the most "fertile" and proactive. It doesn't mean they'll get married off at this age, but it just means that their body is ready.
No, I'm not romanticizing underage marriage or anything. In fact, all the Omegas in my story are 18 when they experience a (sexual) relationship/have a kid. Yes, there are age gaps in this story (such as Paradox and Cyrus), but everything is done CONSENSUALLYbetween the two parties.
This is a fantasy story set in a fantasy world. If it's hard to wrap your heads around the idea that a different world means different rules, consent, marriage, laws, etc., then this isn't the read for you. I don't want to be hunted down for this, nor do I want to be called off on this.
So, technically, under the laws of Byd Cyntaf, Paradox is an adult, but in the human world, he isn't. Yes, that's confusing. Yes, it's hard to understand. But again, everything is consensually, and Cyrus never takes advantage of Paradox (at least, not in a predatorial way [like rape - that will never ever, ever happen between these two]).
Yes, there's manipulation in the story. Yes, there's BDSM elements. Yes, it gets (gorey) violent. Yes, there are flashes of sexual assault (I am not romanticizing this - I know the trauma behind this).
It's a dark romance, dark fantasy story. Keep this in mind.
(Side note: I apologize for taking forever to update. Things are going hectic. This story isn't dead yet. It's still being written behind the scenes.)
Anyways, thank you to all of my subscribers. Don't forget to like the story and leave a comment.
Hey everyone! I hope you enjoy reading Lycanthrope. It means a lot to me if you comment, even if it's simple. I hope you will enjoy this story and the characters. Thank you!
It was just one hazy summer night at Dodencel, the local strip club, where 17-year-old Paradox Feign was introduced to a Lycanthrope. Transfixed and captivated by the Lycanthrope’s charms, Paradox was lured away to a world of blissful pain and torturous pleasure, all the while being drawn to a dangerous, lecherous world of the Lycans.
He was warned of the dangers of the Lycan World when he was young. He heard countless tales of how the Lycans thirst for hierarchy, lust, and blood. Once an innocent person strayed into the world of the Lycans, they would become a slave, a tool, a pawn for the Lycan’s desire. But if it meant to feel an illicit love, to desire the undesirable, to feel alive—Paradox would risk it all, even if it meant his life.
WARNINGS: Extreme violence. Unhealthy/toxic relationships. Abuse. I understand what I am doing and I am not romanticizing anything negative—nor should you. Mind the warnings.
