~ The first two are my earliest depictions of Eyolf.
~ The last sketch shows Bursti and Eyolf in the role of Heimdallr, "Keeper of the Rainbow Bridge". The god Heimdallr is not only a messenger of Asgardr, but also the "begetter of mankind" (according to a myth where he fathers the three Norse social classes: slaves, workers and nobles by sleeping "between husband and wife"). Our Eyolf, proud of his potency and referring to his bisexuality, does describe himself in the story as an embodiment of him. Not modest at all, eh? Eyolf knows sex sells and he's a master of Norse PR - how else would you get so famous a mystic without shamelessly promoting yourself? ^^
