Savína, an entire world filled with magic, monstrous creatures, and royalty. Almost 500 years ago, the entire realm was ruled under the power of one king and queen. The king was a man with immense strength and bravery unmatched against all others. The queen, however, was known for her talents in magic and unquestionable wisdom. Together, their kingdom brought peace and love to all life in existence.
But then, tragedy struck during the choosing of the kingdom’s heir. His majesty suddenly fell ill, unable to even stand on his own. Doctors and magical healers had done all they could, but none were successful in saving his grace. Having no strength left, the king peacefully departed from the world of the living. The children of the royal family mourned over the loss of their beloved father. But their mother, the queen, was the most devastated of them all.
With no heir to ascend the throne, it was decided for Savína be divided amongst the royal children. Some believed in ruling without mercy, others believed in preserving the peace. Neither prince norprincess had reached a decision on how their kingdom should be ruled. So, with the inherited power of the queen, the children left their home in search of new domains. As the distance between all siblings grew, so did their hatred for one another.
The queen, however, stayed in her castle as her citizens followed the heirs. Her heart broke at the sight of the catastrophe that ensued before her very eyes. She was left all alone in her realm with no people, no family, and no king ruling at her side. Centuries have passed and Savína’s kingdom was left only in ruin. There were no signs of life anywhere on its grounds, human or otherwise. Those passing by the forgotten realm fear to venture past the rusted gates of its main wall. Savína was left in six opposing kingdoms, where each of their people wage war against one another. Each kingdom had been named after a child of the first king.
Sylvina, the Emerald kingdom. A luscious landscape blanketed in green forests and flowers grown from the earth. Also known as the home to a species of beast-like warriors as its main citizens. Civil, yet dangerous, creatures holding the appearances of known animals that exist within the wild. Some also believe that mystical creatures from fairytales and fables inhabit those said woods.
Aiden, the Ruby kingdom. Mountains bathed in fiery rock and ember from the hottest depths of the core. Most people of the realm reside in the outermost regions, where vast lands are covered in desert. Yet, other parts of this area contain mountains that’re believed to all burst molten rock at random times. Rumors are believed that such lands were previously home to a civilization of dragons and sunbirds.
Sirena, the Sapphire Kingdom. A city separated from land, and its only entrances are through the restless seas. Some refer to this kingdom as the “Mermaid Sanctuary” for its citizens having the characteristics of aquatic life. Pirates have attempted to enter the realm on ship, but none made it past the dreaded sea monster. And though the land is ruled by a queen, her power in judgement is shared between six councilmen.
Terrell, the Tourmaline kingdom. The most advanced kingdom of the six, harnessing endless power from its thunderous skies. This realm sits at the peaks of five mountains, where its castle lies in the very center. Its citizens dress in rubber-like garments to avoid rogue lightning strikes from approaching. There’s even believed to be a faster means of transportation to travels from one mountain to the next.
Thanatos, the Black-Diamond kingdom. Skies black as night shroud the entire land during the time of day. Demons born from the darkness of man wander its grounds in search of innocent souls to feed on. It’s said that the power of a dark force, once slain by the first king, still lingers in the air of said realm. Only a sum from this nation’s citizens still resides by the most dangerous of areas.
And lastly, Aviner, the Diamond kingdom. Praised for its brightly sculpted architecture, this empire holds the highest political power of the six. Royal guards in the shiniest armor patrol the roads of Savína day and night. They seem known for abiding by honor and mercy; however, some believe that’s not at all true. Most knights of Aviner take advantage of those too afraid to talk poorly over their king. Yet, those who don’t receive the most heinous of punishments known to man.
Wars, alliances, and even death had gone on for the past five centuries. And the people of Savína desire no part in the madness awaiting for them. Yet, the greatest option to them surviving the chaos was to run away. Away from the potential danger and build a brand-new life in lands that are elsewhere. And one of those lands hail within the unscathed forests of Sylvina.
