This is the ethereal realm where we the gods and goddesses, along with the ethereal and celestial citizens, live in peace and harmony. If you look over on this side you can see this portal that opens to the mortal realm, called Centuri. We are in charge of supporting all forms of life as well as keeping things in check and making sure that everything is in perfect balance. Our day-to-day life can get a bit mundane sometimes. But it is a job that we love and are proud to do. Now these artificially intelligent humanoid beings over here, called The Nameless. Their purpose is mostly support-based. They do not have free will and perform their daily duties per their programming. The Nameless may deviate slightly from their orders, but they still must adhere to the coding. Some of the Nameless live here in the ethereal realm as well as down below on Centuri and supply help and support for all of us.
The daily duties of the Nameless include aiding the scientists and doctors living both in the ethereal realm and on Centuri, helping to ensure proper functionality of the many different infrastructures in both locations, conducting routine maintenance of all electrical equipment, and perform cleaning duties wherever needed. They supply all these same services on Centuri too. As part of the Nameless many duties, part of that is to assist the demigods with whatever they might need support with. Just as we thought that peace and harmony would last forever, we were not prepared for what was coming our way.

Luciansys and Claudeleous, the two male gods, were working in the main engineering lab discussing plans to make new buildings in some of the regions on Centuri, that could house some of the larger livestock and ease the crowding issues they were having, since there had been an influx of them being born recently. Inside the main engineering lab, there were multiple holographic screens covering most of the walls while others were floating around the room, waiting to be used. In the center of this room was a large console containing all their projects and files that were worked on. The room was done all in white and the holographic computer screens were the only things to break up all that white with the glowing pale blue color.
Juliabethal, one of the goddesses, was working in conjunction with some Nameless, in the restoration room conducting some much-needed maintenance on one of the larger pools. The room was covered in hues of color that calms whoever sets foot inside the room. This restoration room had one large healing pool and two smaller ones off to the side. Each pool had sparkling crystal blue water that looked like giant tubs of Lapis Lazuli. Unfortunately, the coloration of the water was becoming dim and growing stagnant for an unknown reason. This was most troubling indeed, considering that they have never had an issue like this since its creation. While Juliabethal was tinkering away with the pool, Vivianetta, the second goddess, was holed up in one of the smaller science labs, that was located on the second floor two corridors down from where Luciansys and Claudeleous currently were.
Vivianetta was in the process of concocting a new potion that would prevent some ailments from recent sicknesses that had been circulating among the mortals on Centuri. She had spent countless long hours inside the laboratory recently, trying to figure out what the root causes of these new sicknesses and diseases were, and how they were spreading, so she could find a way to prevent it from becoming a pandemic. Vivianetta leaned back in her chair, making it balance on the two back legs, as she rubbed her eyes with the fingers on her right hand, trying to give them a rest from looking at the dim glow of the screen that she had been staring at for the past several hours. Heaving a big sigh due to pure exhaustion, she decided it was time for a break and went to the cafeteria, which is on the main floor of their castle, so she could grab herself a drink. The exhaustion that she was feeling was making all the knots in her muscles ache even more. She groaned to herself hoping that she would be able to find a drink to perk her up and help chase away her exhaustion.

Man, I am so freakin’ exhausted. I have been staring at this screen forever. I don’t think I can look at it any longer. My eyes are really starting to hurt. That settles it. I need a break. It’s not like I’m making as much headway as it is. I need something that will give me a pick-me-up. Plus, I'm also thirsty. I guess I will make my way down to the cafeteria so I can get something to drink. It’ll give me a chance to stretch my legs and back. I can feel all sorts of knots all over my body. Maybe when I get back to the lab, I might be able to find some clue as to why Centuri is getting these sicknesses and diseases, when before they have never experienced anything like this. I need to hurry and unravel this mystery before it spreads uncontrollably.

While Vivianetta was heading down to the main floor of the castle, she accidentally bumped into her sister, Juliabethal. She looked at Juliabethal and noticed that she was worrying about something serious, which is very unlike her since her sister usually has a sunny and calm disposition. Worried for her sister, Vivianetta pulls her in close and uses her left index finger placed under her chin to gently lift her head so they can make eye contact.

“What’s the matter Juliabethal? You have a look on your face telling me that you have a lot on your mind. Would you want to talk about it?” asked Vivianetta.
“Well, lately there have been more distressing things occurring in our realm. It is quite perplexing, considering how long we have been able to maintain balance and order for eons, without so much as a hiccup. And now, we are faced with our first-ever issue with the restoration pool in our main chamber. I am not sure what to make of this,” Juliabethal said as she combed her slender fingers through her untied pastel green colored hair.
While maintaining eye contact, she asked her, “Juliabethal, do you think we should have a meeting with our brothers so we can let them know about these issues we are facing? After hearing you voice your concerns, something just doesn’t sit right with me. It’s alarming that all these issues are occurring seemingly out of the blue. This is completely unexpected, to say the least.”
“I think that is a wise decision. We need to meet with our brothers and collaborate with them to formulate a plan to prevent further issues from arising. I will go up where the Luciansys and Claudeleous are and let them know that we will be having a meeting in the main meeting room that’s on the third floor,” Juliabethal told her sister.
Juliabethal turned around to leave the hallway that the two of them were talking in, to get her brothers who were in the engineering lab on the second floor, when Vivianetta asked, “Hey Juliabethal, really quick, do you want me to grab you anything from the main castle cafeteria? I was just on my way to go grab me a drink.”
“Sure. I’ll have the same drink as you. And do you think you could get me a sandwich with some chips? The spicy kind, please. Thanks,” Juliabethal called back as she was leaving to head up to the third floor. Her long hair was flowing behind her as if it was being moved by some unseen air current.

Juliabethal finally found the laboratory where her brothers, Luciansys and Claudeleous, were in. She opened the door and went inside. Juliabethal saw that they were both having a serious discussion.
“Hi, you two. I wanted to let you both know that we are going to have an emergency meeting in the main meeting room,” she told them.
Both stopped their conversation and gave her their attention. Luciansys looked at her with eyes that had piercing golden-brown irises, like those of an eagle, which peered out from an unadorned flawless chiseled face. Claudeleous, who looked just like his brother, also turned to look at her with eyes that had pale blue-green irises, like clear ocean water by the beach.
“Alright, we will be there in a few minutes. We just need to wrap up this final part of the blueprint that we are working on, then we will join you and Vivianetta in a little bit,” Claudeleous told her as he got up to go back to the console he was working at and save his progress and shut down the computers. As Claudeleous went back to the computer console that he was working on, not looking up as he closed out his work, told Luciansys, “Brother, make sure to save your work this time. Don’t just shut it down without checking first. It would be a huge pain to redo all the work we did for the past several hours.”
Annoyed with his brother’s griping he grumpily replied, “Sheesh I know I know. You don’t need to remind me every single time we have to shut down the computers in the lab. Contrary to what you think, I do know what I am doing. Man, you can be really annoying at times, you know that?”
“Look I'm just looking out for you. Remember the last time? You told me that you had saved all of the work from that building project a few months back, and when we returned to finalize everything, all of the data was missing. We had to start all over. By the end of it, we were tired and miserable. I am just trying to avoid having to go through that again, if possible,” Claudeleous griped.
“Ugh, do you have to bring that up every time something like this happens? It was only one time. Not like you haven’t made any mistakes. Whatever. Come on. Let’s hurry up and get to the meeting room. From the sound of her voice and the look on her face, it seems like it's urgent,” Luciansys said with exasperation.

Juliabethal left the room before she would have to hear her brother’s argument over something petty again. Shaking her head in dismay, as she wasn’t completely surprised knowing that even as she left, they were probably still arguing. She was just grateful that this time they didn’t try to make her act as mediator again. As she walked down the long hallway, the intricate braids her hair was done up in looked like vines flowing from her head down her back, swung from side to side as she sashayed to the meeting room. Her movements while she was walking made all the parts of her outfit sway side to side just like her hair did. It was almost hypnotic.

I can’t believe that my brothers are fighting again. I’m glad I was able to escape before they had a chance to rope me into their argument. I’m sure, just like last time, it’s over something simple that’s not even worth making a big deal over. I love my brothers, but they give me a headache with all of their bickering. I know that Vivianetta is tired of trying to separate them only to find them back in the same room together, once again arguing. Thankfully this time around neither of them was shouting at each other. I honestly can’t understand why they are like this. Vivianetta and I get along just fine. We have never really had a serious argument before. We know how to talk to each other and use proper communication skills to resolve our differences. Maybe they have too much testosterone. That would make sense since they are both big, strong, and burly men. Yeah, that must be the reason. Maybe we should find them something more labor-intensive, so they can get all that male energy out of their systems. Hopefully, they finish their bickering before they make it to the meeting room. I don’t think Vivianetta will stay quiet this time around. With how exhausted she is, I don’t see it going well for my brothers. That is for them to figure out. Since I will be the first one there, I guess I should get everything set up.
