This large series of pictures is one of my most complex bigger works Ive ever done on a journey.
I started drawing it on the streets and in the parks of Berlin in the summer 2014 where I had no place to stay, but had all my time and thoughts to put on working.
Later, before I had finished the pictures, I took it to the streets and continued working on it, as some kind of 'public exhibition' or like a 'silent busking'.
It is made on tapestry and on the roll, there are lots of other big drawings I made before collecting the ideas of 'Growth-and-trails'. You will see a lot of inkspots and trails from water, and that is because It was allways drawn outside, but the weatherchange was often quite faster than me. Wind and rain and drunk cyclists.
The roll wasnt finished before late September. My stuff got stolen once, the tapestry-role included. But luckily I got it back by two female skaters, who found it in a park. Best thoughts for them.
