I pushed my hair out of my face and sat up, i hated mornings. One thing in the whole world i hated was mornings, I got out of bed and grabbed any clothing i could find and walked into the bathroom, to shower the morning out of me.
I looked in the mirror and brushed my teeth, i always felt better after a shower, I brushed my hair back and tied it in a ponytail. I looked better than i did. I walked out to see Elijah doing his homework like a dweeb, i kicked the back of his chair and he sat up right and glared at me.
"What Liam" he snapped putting his pen down, i smirked.
"Nothing asshat" I smirked he sighed and looked away continuing his task at hand. I walked downstairs and grabbed whatever was available on the counter which happened to be a banana. I grabbed an apple for Elijah and headed back up stairs avoiding the parental's. I sat on my bed and ate my food, i grabbed the apple and threw it at him and he caught it and began eating it.
"Yo Dweeb we gotta get going soon, hurry up" I snapped laying on my bed staring at the ceiling waiting for dumb ass to finish his stuff, he sighed and got up.
"Come on then Liam" He said walking out the door while putting his black hoodie on, he ended up walking into the door, i snickered at him and Elijah poked his tongue out at me.
I grabbed my phone and headed out the front door, Elijah followed behind fiddling with his hood pockets, I glanced at the sky it was dark as usual although it didn't rain much but it was always overcast for some unknown reason, I didn't mind but i missed the sun sometimes. I mean the gloomy dark colours was great and all but i did miss the sun bleaching the concrete and bricks.
"Stop thinking and move your ass" Elijah snapped at me as i trailed behind, i huffed and jogged to catch up with him, he was so mean sometimes. I grabbed his arm as we walked so i didn't fall behind again because i knew he wouldn't wait. I glanced at our surroundings i hated this part of town it was always so creepy and eerie. Cats screeched and dogs barked even growled in the alleyways, they were strays i could tell from their tones. There are many animals abandoned and left to die but they survived and even became revengeful.
"Liam, it's over there" Elijah pointed as the neon sign lit up as we walked closer, flashing the words 'School' i sighed, i disliked this place. It wasn't a school it was more of a enrolment for a school out of state. It was for the kids who needed to up and leave with no strings attached and we needed to do just that.
