"Alex get up! We're going to school! " My younger sister Bianca, who naively thinks I'm sleeping, knocks on my door. If she only knew that I was playing on a console instead of sleeping, she would give me a few hours of lecturing that it is not good for my body to be awake all night. It’s nice that she’s worried about me, which cannot be said of my second sister. She’s older than me and she just went somewhere unknown to live her life with her friends.
I quickly turned off the computer and jumped into bed, pretending to be asleep.
In less than five seconds, my lovely younger sister Bianca, burst into the room, where she went straight to the window and opened the sunblind.
“Ugh, stop it, the light is bad. Do you want to kill me?” I complained about the light she let in and blinded me. Despite my momentary blindness, I saw Bianca smiling, her bronze skin glistering in the sun. Just so you know, the two of us don’t look like siblings. Correctly, she’s my half-sister but in the time, we’ve known each other, she’s just grown to my heart.
“The light hasn’t killed anyone yet. You don’t have to worry unless you’re a vampire.” She smirked at me, ripping the duvet off me.
“How do you know I’m not? Maybe I’m hiding my canines all the time so I can secretly drink you blood at night.” I grinned at her and put my head under the pillow.
“Sure, how could you drink someone’s blood if you’re unable to drink anything other than apple juice?” she took my pillow.
"Apple juice is a great substitute for blood.” I sat on the bed and rubbed my eyes.
“Sure.” She rolled her eyes and ruffled my hair “Get down in five minutes” and left the room.
I meditated there for a while until I finally dug into the closet, where I put on a black T-shirt, black torn jeans and black sweatshirt. Yes, all my clothes are black, no, I’m not emo, I just like the black.
I brushed my teeth in a hurry and tried to do something in front of the mirror with the sparrow’s nest on my head. Of course, it wouldn’t be me if I did well. After that I went to the window where I wan looking out as I was getting my backpack ready for school.
A boy about my age was just running outside. He was tanned. He has a sporty figure and he was very…...sexy. When I saw his a*s in those running shorts, I had to bite my lip.
I looked away and went downstairs for breakfast. I hastily wished everyone a good morning and took a pomegranate from fruit bowl, which is my breakfast today. I walked away from the house where Bianca was waiting for me in the car in front of the house.
God give me strength.
Disgusted, I scrambled out of bed when I heard the alarm ring. Today starts my great day at the new school. I’ve never been there before and I hate it there.
Because of that school, I had to move into this small apartment. And also because of my dexterity in recent schools.
Of all the schools I ever came to, I was fired right away. Six schools a year is completely normal for me. I’m a bit of jerk, but it’s more of a mistake.
I can’t blame me for accidently setting fire to the headquarters, blowing up chemistry classroom or flooding the school. Well, maybe I’m to blame, but it doesn’t matter now.
Well, now I’m going to have to go here to school that offered me a scholarship to one of my swimming competitions.
However, this school is too far from my hometown and family. I have basic equipment, a kitchen and a toilet. That must be enough for me.
The important thing is that there is a TV and my console. I was excited to throw myself at TV, which immediately ruined all my hopes That I would play at least one game in the morning. There are still a million upgrades and other similar things that separate me from gaming.
Why is it still not working?
I plugged its in the evening and let it go overnight.
I will cry.
With a sigh I washed, got dressed and got my backpack ready for school. I hope that when I come home from school, I will be able to play something on console. If not, I’ll sell it and buy another instead.
I locked the apartment and went to school; I wonder how long it will last me.
As I walked down the street, I looked at things around me. I saw a tabby stray cat running away when she saw me, an old man feeding pigeons and…...and a car driving like crazy.
I really don’t know who was driving it, but nobody shouldn’t give that person steering wheel or a driver’s license. That person drove normally on bollards as well, moving from one lane to another in various ways. I even heard someone screaming ang begging to stop, probably a passenger, a poor thing.
“Bianca, da*n it!” I shouted at her as she almost crossed a poor pedestrian, fortunately avoiding her.
All the while, I held on to the handle and begged her to stop, but repeated that she had everything under control.
Everything under control? Sure, that’s why she drives more on the sidewalk than on road and gives nonsensical signals with a turn signal.
This was the last time I was in the car with her.
When I felt the car stop and saw Bianca pulling the keys out of the ignition, I immediately opened the door and started kissing the ground.
Everyone looked at me like a fool and Bianca laughed at me, but people who knew how she could drive just looked at me sympathetically and prayed that it they would not be next.
“Don’t be a drama queen. I’m not driving so bad,” Bianca lifted me from the ground.
“Are you kidding me? You almost crossed several pedestrians on the way, squeezed the turn signal nonsensically and turned the steering wheel in various ways. My dear, from today you will drive cars only in games” I looked at her scoldingly. The car wouldn’t drive until she will be sixty.
“But you know I’m trying my best.” She looked at me with those big brown eyes of puppy that was beaten by a newspaper.
“I know, but you’re making little progress.” I stroked her hair, and despite my nausea and the shock of that crazy ride, I smiled at her.
“Really?” her eyes sparkled.
"Sure, you already know how the components work." I lied to her.
She began to explain to me how she improved thanks to one movie where the protagonist was driving a car and the like, I waved her off and went to school with her, where her friends were waiting for her, who took her to her class and I went to my own, where an unpleasant surprise waited for me.
