The mountain falling had been a shock to the world, a mountain that had broken through the crust of the earth hundreds of years ago surrounded by immense magic power and completely crystalline, from the mountain the soft medley of a guitar had been heard up until 16 years ago when a crystal had formed at the bottom of the mountain seen to contain a figure, but three weeks ago a blast from inside the mountain shook the skies and the crystal mountain fell shattering the figure seen in the crystal having disappeared the only evidence of him was a small pool of black and gold blood. A child went to go check out the wreckage. It had happened less than a month ago and the impact had cracked the earth sending new crevices spiraling in different directions the radius could even be seen from space some say. All of which piqued the kid’s curiosity. The child unfurled his wings and flew there sneaking past the officials and was looking around. Maybe he could even find something to take home! Until he noticed some footprints walking away from a big shattered crystal, around the footprints evidence of blood and feathers kept the trail going. With excitement, he followed the trail flying to go faster. The trail of footprints went into the forest nearby. He followed them for a long time it wasn’t until the kid looked up and saw the sky was multiple colors did he realize it was near sundown. He looked back at where he was headed and noticed that the trail had come to a sudden stop. He looked around for more tracks but to no avail. He landed and was about to go back when he heard a voice behind him.
“Hey, kid.”
He turned around to see a demon covered in blood. The blood was black, but it’s color was constantly changing.
“Wh-who are you?” The kid asked paralyzed by fear.
“Don’t worry, I’m not gonna hurt you. I’m just looking for the nearest town.” The guy told the child. The kid, still paralyzed by fear, pointed in the direction he came from, his hand shaking with fright.
“Thanks, kid.” The demon responded then walked out completely from behind the tree. The kid saw a sight he never would’ve never even dreamed of seeing: a singular horn jutting from pure white hair, a black demon wing, and a gold gray angel one, and a tail with a small spike on the end.
“Wait you're a Nephilim! I thought they went extinct thousands of years ago.” The kid asked, his paralysis gone.
“Yeah, they did. I’m the last one.” The man responded before taking a step forwards and collapsing.
“Mister! Oh no, let me go get help!” The kid said worryingly before opening his wings and flying back to the village and getting an ambulance.
The guy’s last sight before blacking out was the kid with wings flying away.
~a few days later~
The man woke up to see a hospital room, his side and face were in bandages and his arm stump was covered as well.
“What happened?” He asked and then the kid and two adults walked in with the doctor.
“Our son found you and brought you here.” The older of the two adults said.
“Yeah. It seemed you lost a portion of your face and your right eye as well as your left arm. You know how you lost them?” The other doctor asked.
“Sort of it’s kind of a blur I remember that I lost them because some angels attacked me many years ago.” He answered, wincing as he tried to sit up in his bed.
“Alrighty, then. Most angels are extinct now. We’re very few in number, so the ones who attacked you are probably long gone.” The first doctor explained. “You got a name?”
The man thought about his question for a moment.
“Yeah, my name’s Hiro. Hiroyuki Kirigomi.” He answered.
