Part I-
“How Long Until The Crown Breaks?”
1. It was three years ago when the warriors came back after destroying the warrior demon before the supposed 100-year span destruction. When they all made it back, each and every country seemed to be relieved to greet the warriors in the position that they were in.
The lands were no longer polluted with the Adenian demons, and all the people, creatures, and animals, even the titans that surrounded the land were able to live the happiest lives that they could, and they hoped to be able to provide the same thing for the future...
In the gigantic and decorated dining hall of the sovereign's palace stood and sat every established person around the kingdom of Lesothia.
On the Sovereign's day of birth, they all would gather around the palace, with the higher figures being in the palace, and celebrate the wonderful day with their sovereign Marshogon and sovereigness Maldu.
And together with them sat Morlagon and his first wife Tera with their son, and her handmaidens and Morlagon's male servants that attended with them during the festivities of the congregation.
With this settlement, they all partied until the second daybreak, and everyone was to be sure to have a good time.
In the land of Lesothia lies provinces that are all under the rule of the sovereign, but the seven provinces of Lesothia were all watched over by dukes and their duchesses. And with them were Lishra's, people who would make sure the provinces are guarded, ones who ruled the guards around.
And protecting each province are the military of Lesothia, each province having its own divisions, each listening to their dukes and duchesses, each obeying the Sovereign and Sovereigness.
And one of the unique ways Lesothia also lived was having large and powerful bands speak for the rulers of Lesothia. Like what you'd see in a college, or specifically a HBCU, instead here in Lesothia, they were even larger, and the dancers and band players were chosen by the sovereign and sovereigness themselves to be the sound of the provinces, that all together make up the beautiful and powerful land of Lesothia.
The province that stood the sovereign was the Province of the Lion, then the second was the Province of the Bear, then the third the Province of the Captora (A large sea dragon looking creature), the fourth being the Province of the Titans, the fifth being the Province of the Orpa (A bird like creature), then the sixth being the Province of the Panther, and the seventh being the Province of the Drit (A deer like creature).
And with all these Provinces comes all the people who serve the sovereign and sovereigness, while all together serving the Creator of all things, the one who helped the warriors destroy the demonic creature, and the one who stays with us at all times.
With this, the land of Lesothia progresses, and so do the people in it.
Now as the party continued on, right as dinner time set in, all the cooks came out to Marshogon the Sovereign and Maldu the Sovereigness to bring them the birthday supper for Marshogon.
As they all sat around the table, with Morlagon by his mother and father with his wife and son right beside him along with the advisor, duke and duchess, and the Lishra's as well.
Marshogon stopped everyone speaking, including the music playing to lift up his freshly poured wine filled inside his sparkling gold and silver cup, and says to everyone:
"To everyone here and outside, I just want to thank you all for my born day wishes for me to be stronger than ever, strong for my people, and for my wife, my son and his wife and my beautiful grandchild. And most importantly, I thank the Most High Yah for me to live another year, and I pray that all of Lesothia may grow continually with me and after me, so that we stay the world leaders of the people, and be the most powerful we can be, so enjoy this day as I am, and let everyone know that they are in the best hands with our Creator shining over us daily, HalleluYah!"
Saying HalleluYah as well, everyone returns to the food and music and continues to enjoy their dinner.
A nicely cooked salmon meal with rice and vegetables that is normally cooked for the Sovereign and Sovereigness.
But it was later on after the partying when Marshogon said his goodbyes to everyone to go up to his bedroom chambers early in the night, yes, he is older and would prefer to fall asleep early, but Morlagon turned from the floor to look up to the large silver steps to see Marshogon go away with his men, to sleep already.
He watched as his mother stood by the door, still with a smile on her face, watching everyone enjoy themselves.
And then, the companions came along, all four of them up the steps to watch over Marshogon sleep, The four sapphire colored lions made their way through the crowd, unbothered, and ready to do their duty.
Marshogon followed the lions as he let his wife, Tera, and his son, Estenbenyahu, know where he was going.
As he went up the steps, he greeted his mother as she said softly to him, "no need my son, your father has had his day and he is willing to just rest his feet now." She nods as wanting him to listen fully and step back.
But Morlagon keeps his placement on the crystalized blue marble flooring to say, "mother, I have a few words I would like to speak with father, please, if I may?"
Widening his eyes as if pleading with her, fighting her stubbornness, she turns to the guards right by the door saying, "please, attend to him while he makes his talk quick."
Turning back to Morlagon, the men place their sword and shield down to stand right by his sides. Morlagon scoffs, "can't you let these men rest? The lions have come to do the guarding, may they rest?"
Maldu chuckles, but covering her mouth she then keeps her composure and says strictly, "they have, and have just returned to their duty, do you really believe we'd be so cruel as to not let them rest when the lions have come to take their place? How broad of you to think?"
Still laughing a little, Maldu nods her head saying, "Now go on then, I don't want you to keep Tera waiting, Estenbenyahu will need you soon."
"I will, mother." He kisses her cheek and walks up again towards the sovereign's chamber.
Walking up the sapphire-filled staircase into the chamber, Morlagon lets the lions know by a certain gesture that he is here to speak with his father as the guards stood behind him.
Now the lions already know his princely presence, but Morlagon does this out of kind gesture.
With the large pictured doors opening up, Morlagon walks in to see his father reading in his big bed, looking up to his son once hearing the large doors opening up.
"Ah, Morlagon, what is it? Wondering why I disappeared huh?" He laughs at this.
"That too father, but I would also like to ask you something, and I pray with this question that I'm not being too personal, it's just...It has been troubling me ever since the doctor mentioned it."
Marshogon sighs as he places the scripture down to stand up before his son, saying, "our deal with the Meda people will not elude us of the Chadlude people."
Morlagon speaks up saying, "no father, not that, I want to ask if it is true that you have a rare disease known from the Seperean people, is that why you have been having these constant parties? You have had ten of these before your day has arrived, for what I know of since coming back, this hasn't been from two birthdays ago?"
As Marshogon is about to clarify, Morlagon says something else, "Is it true that your skin is giving you horrendous burns whenever you stay outside too long?"
"Why son? Are you planning to send me more help?"
Morlagon nods yes, "if I have to, yes."
"Morlagon no, this I have had for a while now."
"But it's getting worse?? Our people have untainted melanin shining on each of us, to have such a disease is uncalled for? Unheard of??"
"Morlagon!" He puts his hand out as to stop his son from saying anything else, "I understand your worry my prince, but I have visited your mother's people recently on a vacation, and I didn't put on the protection from the burning orange sun that occurs there down south, I hadn't thought of much that has changed over the last ten years due to poison being lifted up there from the Adenians a while back. I didn't let anyone give me further information and from this I stayed at the beach too long and contacted the bug, and now my skin burns like crazy every now and then, but...I am managing, it can be healed overtime, and I know before my timely death, I will be healed." He walks up to Morlagon, stroking his cheek with a smile coming from his lips to bring surety to his son.
But Morlagon walked to the side in thought, saying, "Father, please keep up on this disease, I heard it's deadly, and is highly affecting travelers there."
"I'll be alright Morlagon, I have the best doctors watching over me, trust me." He puts his hand over Morlagon's shoulder.
Morlagon takes a deep breath and smiles at his father, saying calmly, "Well, get some rest, I'll be sure to host the rest of your party."
"Thank you, my son." Marshogon looks well at his son before getting back into bed.
Then once he does so, the large doors open up again and Morlagon turns around to see the guards walking in, with the lions still by the door, Morlagon smiles again to see his mother walk in right past them, with Marshogon saying behind him, "my dear, have you come to check up on me too?" Keeping a positive attitude all the way through.
Walking in slowly due to her long blue and crystalized gown, she walks over to Morlagon first saying, "go attend to the people."
Morlagon nods as he gives his father a smile before walking out, and behind him, Maldu says to the guards, "you may leave, get some rest as well." She nods and they do so.
With Morlagon walking back out and down the stairs, he walks out amidst the people to speak with them, but the advisor of the Sovereign makes his way to Morlagon through the crowd, giving their handshake, Morlagon nods and says to him, "Sir Trell, what is it?"
Looking worried in the face, he says to Morlagon, "my prince, I just got word that we are to be visited tomorrow by a Leperean nation, I believe the Chadlude people or a people known to live in the Leperean mountains farther north?"
Morlagon stands in close and says to him, "yes, our sovereign has said so, but he hasn't told me when, so tomorrow we must be prepared."
"I'll have all the men and creatures prepared my prince, you will not have to worry, just make sure to have your rest."
"I will sir Trell, you get rest as well, we must prepare for what they want."
"To be honest my prince, all the kingdoms want of ours."
He laughs as Morlagon slightly laughs with him before saying, "well, we have resources people viciously need that we will always have, so make sure they get what they need, there is a limit depending on their cause only."
"Yes, my prince."
Facing the people, Morlagon thanks everyone for coming to celebrate as they all start to make their way to their homes with the band helping to escort them out with their loud and powerful music.
Morlagon and his advisor watch as the triumph but smooth sound makes its way outside leading everyone home while with some guards with the band, most of the military men escort the people home from behind.
With the palace now mostly quiet and full of workers, Morlagon nods and sighs, smiling at how great the party went without thinking about anything bad about his father's health, so as to help himself not worry.
With this, Morlagon starts to walk off, until he turns around to face Sir Trell, "goodnight," he simply says.
Sir Trell nods with a slight smile, "goodnight my prince." With this, Morlagon walks down his hallway to make his way to sleep.
And all of them did so, until they were greeted with a loud horn shouting in the morning, and the new arrival of a people no other nation has ever seen.
The tribe of the Medaian Ice people.
