An ancient philosopher once said, "All people were born good, they do evil things out of ignorance."
I believe that kindness is one of the most important traits in people, whether you look for it in your co-worker or significant other, make sure you find it, before having any business with them.
And if you are the co-worker or significant other in question, make sure to be kind and respectful towards everyone, that is something that people want, arrogant and evil people are cool only in fiction, except this one, here we love kind people.
Now that we are talking about kindness I wanted to say that not-so-kind benefits can cause acts of kindness. Someone who is kind to a person with power, just to use it later in unholy ways, is not a kind person. A person that is actually kind is someone who does kind things without expecting anything in return or having any benefits, but not even that is enough, in order to be kind you must be kind not to a significant group of people, but to everyone.
Have you heard about altruism?

It's the year 1575, and the young swordsman was born, he is not the main focus of this story but let's talk a little bit about him. A young boy is destined to be the best, but he didnt succeed. Sasaki Kojiro as I said earlier lived in the 16 century but also in the 17th, in which he died.
He was a giant, with a height of approximately 183cm. He also liked bigger swords, his katana was called Monohoshi Zao, which is 90cm long. Sasaki was also a heartbreaker, a very handsome man but never a really big fan of marriage at a young age, many women liked him and wanted to marry him but he declined a lot of them until he finally decided to marry the next one that will ask him, It took him 30 years but he finally did it.
Otowa Yoshida, jokingly, asked Sasaki to marry him, to which he agreed. She was as surprised as it gets, I mean he was one of the most famous samurai in Japan who also doesn't seem to have a good reputation when it came to accepting women for marriage, yet she succeeded.
Kojiro was a very disciplined man, he had this weird habit of doing certain things at a certain time and certain way. He would always eat exactly 15 minutes after he wakes up, and he would always train for exactly 1 hour, from noon to one hour after noon. Rest of the day he would wander around or fight. You could see him at the bars quite often, always on the same days, always at the same time, always at the same bar. Every time he would enter the bar, nobody would sit in the chair he likes to sit in, even if someone is sitting in it, they would get off it before Sasaki even comes in, they would know when he comes in since he always does it in the same time. After he sits on his seat, one of the bartenders would ask him what he wants to drink but he never answers, not until a specific bartender asks him. He would sit there for an entire hour waiting for Nanashi to ask him what he wants to drink, if Nanashi doesn't ask, then Sasaki would just leave after an hour. The reason, why Sasaki wants Nanashi to ask him, is because the first time he came to this bar, it was Nanashi to serve him, now he doesn't want to answer anyone else, it would break the cycle of doing the same things at the same time the same way.
Sasaki Kojiro had master. notorious man, named Oda Nobunaga. Oda was even bigger than Sasaki, 185cm tall but much thinner and out of shape, at the time he was just an old man but very respected and powerful. He still knew some tricks and regular samurai wouldn't be able to kill him, but Sasaki is nowhere near being regular. Sasaki would kill 6 people a day. I already said that he would go around fighting people, even tho he doesn't kill civilians, there are enough samurai for him to enjoy the rest of his life.
Sasaki wasn't the strongest swordsman in Japan, of course, matter of fact, there are a few samurai he was secretly scared to fight but he just doesn't talk about that to be more notorious himself. Sasaki does believe in peace, which is not something you would think a samurai would even understand the concept of, but if you ask him, he would tell you that peace is the best thing that can happen, but he is no optimist, he is realistic and knows that is not an option. In his words "Everyone who wields a sword, wants me to kill him." He believes if you kill people, you deserve to be killed because then you prevent bringing peace to the earth. You can see the irony, Sasaki is full of contradictions.
Kojiro was not a mean person, he was strict and rarely seen smiling, but he was a big family guy. Sounds very unreal for someone who waited 30 years to get married but he really does love his family. His whole life he loved only two things, family and fighting. He knew he can't have both, because if he keeps fighting, he might die so he won't be able to support his family and that is something he could never let himself do. It took him 30 years but now he sees that there is nobody who can kill him, so he decides to finally marry and have kids.
Sounds like the end of his samurai time but there is one thing he needs to do before he retires and shifts from samurai to father, he has to kill Oda Nobunaga. For the first couple of years, Kojiro admired Oda's strength but now all he sees in Oda is an evil old jerk he has no respect for. Oda stands on his throne while watching his people die, worst of all, he enjoys it. Sasaki could kill him any time actually but doesn't want to do it, he wants to rebel against Oda but he is a respectful swordsman, he doesn't want to assassinate someone in an unhonorable way. He thought about challenging Oda in a duel but if he does so, Oda will send 20 people to Kojiro which wouldn't be honorable either.
Everything changes one day, after having several sons, Kojiro gets a daughter. The first thing Kojiro thought when he heard it, is how Oda won't accept it.
"My lord Oda forbids us of having daughters. If he sees her, he will force me to execute her. Maybe this is a sign to finally rebel against him." Kojiro said to himself, walking in the triangle like he does every time he thinks of something important.
The plan goes like this, firstly Otowa and the kids will get on one of the ships, its captain is Sasaki's friend so they will be safe there, at the end of the blue sea, they will find land called Philipines on which they can start a new life. In the meantime Sasaki will come to Oda and tell him about his daughter but instead of letting Oda have her, he will attack Oda himself, Sasaki knew he will die there but he just couldn't continue his life knowing Oda is still alive, a man who killed Sasaki's comrades and friends just for fun.
It happened as Sasaki foresaw, as soon as he took his katana from its cover, 20 men attacked Sasaki but he was able to move through them and kills Oda by slicing his stomach in half and stepping on organs that fell on the ground right after. With several swords pierced through his back, Sasaki falls to the ground.
Yes, I know that Sasaki said he doesn't want to leave his family alone, which he just did, but I also said he is full of contradictions. He knows that too, what he doesn't know is the reason he did what he just did. He just couldn't help but kill Oda, he's been killing for that man his whole life, and he just can't keep up with his life for one more day knowing Oda lives.
It's been several days and Otowa still awaits her husband who promised to come with the next ship going to the Philippines, but he never came. After 10 years, all of her sons died, and only her daughter remains alive, her name is Sasaki Hana but since she is now in the Philippines, they changed their last name to Diwa.
