I've lived my whole life in the mining city E-273. From a child I had given up hope of leaving the grimy, smokey place. The only way out was if you somehow saved up enough credits to afford the transport off this miserable planet, but that was practically impossible. All the credits that we sweated out in the mines went to keeping us alive, to paying off the rent. I barely scraped out my rent each month, much less be able to save up for anything. I knew that there were stars and other planets out there, but I can't see them through the perpetual dimly lit smog covering everything. If you were to tell me that spaceships could be small, agile, and shiny, I would never have believed you.
That is, until a streak of fiery screeching fell from the sky, landing just on the outskirts of the city. My shift had just ended so I decided to see what just happened, hoping to be able to salvage any scrap so I could possibly get a couple more credits. I was not expecting to find a fully intact, very shiny, medium sized ship, although it was smoking a little.
------------
What do I do?
1. Try pulling it apart for the scrap.
2. Check if there's anyone inside.
3. Leave it: it's someone else's problem.
