Welcome! I'm Lela, one of the artists that will be making this comic. This comic is a remake of an old version I owned years ago, no longer available, but with new additions. This remake will include new world-building and mechanics, redesigning the original characters, and a new plot line keeping the same story Idea and concept. With no further ado here's the new and updated version of “Deae” I hope it's for everyone's enjoyment as well as our team of artists.

I can't say much since it's just the prologue, but having such a info dump that sounds just like a generic fantasy anime-style story won't help with having readers stay around for the rest.
Try to have what makes YOUR setting and story unique. Doesn't need to be much, but the first chapter of any story must show why people should care.
As an example, Dungeon Meshi has the Protagonist's sister eaten by a dragon, the surviving party members joining forces with a new member and deciding to cook and eat the monsters in the dungeon to survive. All while showing a very detailed and realistic meal made from one as a way to showcase the idea.
