Mia brushed her wavy brown hair, satisfied with how good the curls look against her delicate frame. 

BEEP.

Mia smiled. Her phone flashed with Tinder notifications, which she promptly opened. Her white Christian Louboutin pumps brushed against the edges of her vanity table.

As soon as she realized, she entertained the thought of just going for two dates in a row for tonight. Why not right? She had a busy week with work, it might be time to play catchup on the romance section. She glanced over both of the profiles swiftly. 

Caleb; a tall blonde hunk with pictures ranging from being cheerful with friends in bars to a picture of him hanging with a rope, rock climbing. His caption is perfect, 'DTF'. Mia couldn't be happier, it would be less drama she thought to herself.

Josh on the other hand, had an entirely different vibe for his Tinder profile. Gorgeous smile, one hand cradling a big happy Golden Retriever on his side. Mia swiped to see another one of his photos. Josh in a pool, hair gloriously wet from swimming with a smile seemingly hidden under the water. TOPLESS. Josh is topless and his arms looked like they've seen some days in the gym too.

And just like that, Mia replied to both of them. Caleb for a date at 8pm, Josh at 10pm. She figured Caleb would be much more fun, and she'll probably stick with him for the rest of the night. Josh seems, much more of a sweetheart. He would probably understand if she wants to reschedule.

She gathered her essentials, keys, lipstick, wallet and pepper spray as she made her way to the door of her loft. 

Still smirking, Mia entered the elevator and texted her bestfriend the locations for her dates. Her messages instantly read in WhatsApp, Evelyn replied with a heart emoji, asking Mia to have fun and be safe. 

Mia recalled when Evelyn used to detest her for going on Tinder dates and having one night stands. Unlike Evelyn, Mia didn't like relationships very much. Her experiences with being monogamous always ended up in nothing but heartbreaks and a whole lot of ice cream.

It didn't matter if she changed her ways, hell even if she tried changing her exes' ways. It always turned out for the worst; Mia in a daze as the current boyfriend gets stuck in a loop of cheating and lying.

All that hurt has made Mia realized one thing. She liked the company, she liked the fun and she liked the sexual intimacy. Nothing else. 

Which lead to months of experimenting on Tinder and finally, she got the gist of it. Always wine and dine in a public place to filter the psychos, have your way with them for a night and leave afterwards. No promises and most importantly, no stay overs. 

As she got in her Uber, Caleb and Josh had both texted her.

'Cool'. Caleb's one word reply invited a giggle from Mia. She bets that Caleb is gonna be a whole lot of fun.
