I've been ruminating for a long time whether to even put this series up here. I'm very self-conscious about the way it looks, since it's done entirely with pencils, and the early pages leave much to be desired in that department. While I was working on this comic, I was literally pouring myself out onto paper. I would finish a chapter and start a new one immediately, never fussing over the art because I felt that making corrections would diminish the whole point. That's all well for therapy but comics are meant to be read as well.
But you know what? I love this series. It's probably my favourite thing I've ever done. It's incredibly important to me and I want to share it with others. Maybe it'll find an audience. Maybe it'll fizzle out and die. I won't know unless I give it a go.
So that's what I'm doing. To anyone reading this: thank you for giving my scribblings a chance.
Your comics are ultimately for you! We're just here along for the ride! I'm excited to see where this goes and I don't mind the pencils at all. I like the rawness of it. I would however up the contrast of the pages a smidge, or darken the text a little at the very least. ;)
