There was once a fine-looking teenage boy with short, wavy black hair and Uranian-blue eyes named Harold, who lived in Fluvaria.
He had a passion for art, specifically painting, and was really good at it. He had not only won multiple school art competitions, but one time the painting he entered into a competition was sold to an art museum which brought him a lot of fame and respect. Life was great for Harold during that time, however all good things come to an end.
One day an unknown person killed Mayor Mortoi and framed Harold for it using edited camera footage. There was no proof that Harold was innocent, so he was sent to jail and was hated by the citizens of Fluvaria. Harold’s life was miserable at this point since he was recognized as a criminal, hated, and unfairly locked up in jail. He was so miserable, that once he considered finding a way to put an end to his suffering, even if he wouldn’t get to see the real killer caught.
One day Harold thought that enough was enough. So, he escaped his cell, ran away from Fluvaria, and went into hiding in Reguine. The Fluvaria Police tried their absolute best to find Harold and take him back to his cell, but he was nowhere to be found. Because of this, the police just assumed he had somehow died during his escape.
The first thing Harold did when he got to Reguine was to get a new outfit, for two reasons:
1: He hated wearing the infamous black and white stripes of imprisonment and,
2: He needed to stay out of sight from the police.
His new outfit consisted of a black robe with silver trimming and three silver clasps, a crimson shirt underneath the robe, black pants, black and maroon boots with silver details on them and a black cape with red lining. These clothes were commonly worn by people in Reguine.
Ten years after his escape, Harold found an extremely rare artifact in the waters of Reguine. It was a Maioura Crystal, which is a red crystal that has the power to bring stone to life. Harold didn’t know what the crystal was or what powers it possessed, but he was interested in the crystal and went to a library to gain information on it.
On the same day Harold found the crystal a curious man encountered him in the library. The man had medium length, ash-grey hair and mantis-green eyes, a cardinal-red robe similar to Harold’s black robe but noticeably different, a black shirt underneath the robe, cardinal-red pants, black and silver boots, and a cardinal-red cape with black lining. During this moment Harold was doing some research on the Maioura Crystal.
“What you’re researching interests me also,” said the man, in a cunning, sort of excited voice. “Who are you?” asked Harold. “I am Pierre. I seek to take over Fluvaria and I’m an expert in dark magic.” “You want to take over Fluvaria? But why?” asked Harold. “Because my father died, and I didn’t get any land as part of my inheritance, even though my twelve siblings all got some land. So instead of forcefully taking land off them, I decided to go out and take over something else,” replied Pierre, in a tone that went from angry to pleased. “You’re Harold, aren’t you?” asked Pierre. “How do you know my name?” asked Harold. “Well, I heard about you all those years ago when you unfairly got arrested,” replied Pierre. “And I know you want revenge.” “No, I don’t want revenge,” responded Harold. “I just want to forget that ever happened and live a new life.” “Harold, you will feel so much better if you get justice. So, are you willing to make your life better or not?” asked Pierre.
After that conversation Harold and Pierre started to form their evil plan. For the first few weeks, Harold was hesitant about committing to this scheme. But after some more persuasive talk from Pierre, all hesitations and doubts were erased.
Five years later, the evil plan had mostly come together. Harold had built a staff with the Maioura Crystal in it. Harold and Pierre had decided to have an army of stone warriors, due to Pierre’s talent in stone carving, and Harold now liked Pierre even more since they both had a talent in some form of art. However, they still needed a lair.
When Harold and Pierre were walking on the footpath discussing what their lair should be like, a woman with long, curly, dark brown hair and eyes of the same colour, overheard them and decided to investigate. She was wearing a black top with red sleeves, black pants, a red belt, black glossy boots, and multiple scarlet chains around her neck.
“So, you were talking about an evil lair,” said the woman out of nowhere. Harold and Pierre acted how any surprised person would and turned around to find the woman behind them. “Who are you?” asked Harold, in a tone that sounded as if he didn’t want the woman to be there. “I am Charlina, and I know a good building you could turn into your lair,” answered the woman. Hearing this, Harold and Pierre gained a little more interest in Charlina but were still unsure of her. “And what’s this building you’re talking about?” asked Pierre, in the same tone as Harold but slightly more enthusiastic. “The abandoned Castle of Crepuscolo. We could fix the place and renovate it into our lair.” Harold told Charlina that she needed to prove that she was worthy of being with him and Pierre before they could go to the castle.
So, Harold and Pierre took Charlina to a battle practice dojo where she could show them how good her fighting skills were. She got out a light brown wooden sword from the weapons crate and she succeeded in destroying all the dummies in the room. They were impressed. So impressed that Harold and Pierre got her a vermilion scimitar the following day. A vermilion scimitar is a black iron sword with a vermilion crystal at the end of the hilt. Although it’s not the rarest sword out there, it’s still hard to find and very expensive.
Once Charlina was given her brand new sword, she left Reguine, along with Harold and Pierre, to reside in the abandoned Castle of Crepuscolo. When they got there, the castle had vines growing through it, windows were shattered, and certain parts of the castle were destroyed to the ground, reduced to a pile of bricks. They reconstructed what was broken the minute they got there.
After several hours, the castle had been completely restored to its former, unbroken state. Harold, Pierre, and Charlina had tons of spare rooms left over after renovating the castle, so they used those rooms for stuff like evil meetings, holding prisoners, hiding treasures, and storing the stone warriors when they were inanimate.
Five years later and they are now in the present. It is 9 pm and Harold is currently standing at the top of the castle’s tallest pillar, announcing things to a nonexistent audience. “TOMORROW I SHALL UNLEASH MY ARMY OF STONE WARRIORS! TOMORROW WILL BE THE TWENTY YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE DAY I WAS FRAMED! AND TOMORROW WILL BE THE TWENTY-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE DAY I RECEIVED A LOT OF HATE THAT I DIDN’T DESERVE!” Harold announced things like that in the moonlight for fifteen minutes. Then Pierre called him into the warrior room.
“Harold, there’s something I want to show you,” claimed Pierre, as he and Harold were walking across the large, dim room. When they reached the end of the room Harold saw five inanimate stone warriors he had never seen before. The statue on the right looked like a goblin and was carrying a chipped sword and an empty bag. The one on the far right next to it, was a cloaked figure. The statue on the left looked like a Medusa carrying a bow and arrow with snake details on the bow. The one on the far left next to it, only had a textured scorpion tail, and the one in the middle had a distinct winged helmet and a large jet pack. While Harold was looking at the new statues, Pierre asked, “Will you please introduce yourself to Theifblin, Nocturus, General Slithera, Scorpius and Cite?” Harold didn’t get what Pierre said, and after a minute of awkward silence Pierre told him to tap the statues with his staff. Harold already had experience with turning stone to life and was excited to see what the five new statues were like, so he tapped them. The eyes of the statues glowed like red traffic lights at night. After a few moments the new warriors were completely animated.
“What is your command, master?” asked Nocturus in his slow deep voice. Harold explained to the five of them that they needed to attack Fluvaria tomorrow. “Why?” asked Scorpius. Harold then told them about his life and why he wanted to get revenge on Fluvaria. Theifblin was clearly excited about the next day, he asked Harold if he could steal from the city. Harold replied, “Yes, Theifblin, in fact there is a relic somewhere in Fluvaria I want you to steal.” Theifblin couldn’t resist asking Harold what he had to steal. Harold replied, “You will find out tomorrow.” General Slithera slithered towards Harold and bowed to him. “We will do as you ask,” she announced as she was bowing.
Footsteps could be heard as someone entered the room then they stopped suddenly. Charlina was standing in the entrance of the warrior room. “I see that our generals have been created,” shouted Charlina from the other side of the room. She walked over to Harold and Pierre with an impressed look on her face. “You like them, don’t you?” asked Pierre. Charlina confirmed that she admired the generals before Pierre told her how long they took to make. “They took four hours, twenty-one minutes and sixteen seconds to make,” replied Pierre.
Harold looked out the window with excitement and evil in his eyes. He could not see Fluvaria out the window due to its distant location, but in his imagination Fluvaria was right in front of him. “Good night Fluvaria,” said Harold sinisterly. “Tomorrow I shall deal with you.”
20 years ago, a man named Harold was framed for a murder. Now he seeks revenge on his hometown Fluvaria. Upon hearing the news, a teenage boy named Bobby gathers his friends and forms a crime-fighting team. Will it be enough to stop the threat?
