'I thought I loved you but I was wrong... I'm sorry...'
A memory had flashed again. he had always hated these things but at least heartbreak memories weren't as bad as his mother's death. As he walked into his room. he flopped onto his comfy bed. Nothing helped a bad day but staying in bed, well at least for Russel. Feeling cold-hearted and alone he decided to go to the basement and see what his father was up to.
The staircase leading down to the basement was rusty as always but then again, they were ancient. Surprisingly, Russel had found the basement door actually opened this time. Nothing terrifying whatsoever except for the sound of the chains clashing against each other coming from inside of this basement.
Russel had finally built up the courage to pull open the doors. His father was doing another one of his 'experiments'. Russel knew this, he knew very well that his father was not only insane but mentally ill. His father had managed to convince himself that he could actually bring the dead back to life. Father had always loved mother and that was probably why but you know what was scary? The dead corpse that he had dug up from a grave, this was new, father has never gone this far. Never even attempted to. This only proved one thing. Father had completely lost it and he was probably desperate.
Couldn't he just move on?
