Hi everyone, this is a new endeavour for me. I've tried writing webnovels before but haven't been pleased with the results (mostly because I've tried extensive plotting but that only led to me writing stuff then deleting my work.) Hopefully this will give me a way to try different methods of writing. I think I'm more of a pantser or maybe a plantser so we'll see where this road takes me.
I will be writing stories with characters all across the spectrum of LGBTQ+ identities so you can expect every story to be different. The themes will be similar: Family, friendship, love (whether it is familial, romantic, platonic or something that blurs all those lines.) There is no correct definition of love or potrayal of it for that matter. Characters will vary in age so hopefully there will be something here for everyone no matter their background or where they come from.
I hope you enjoy seeing where this journey leads me and I look forward to posting here soon. :)
Short stories from all across the LGBTQ+ spectrum of identities.
Good representation of the LGBTQ+ community is sadly more scarce than one would want to believe. Too often in the history of media, queer characters have been portrayed as villains, characters that died to bring a story forward or as a characters that were used as a way to boost the character arcs of the heteronormative characters. Not enough stories showcase queer joy in its purest form with or without the struggles that we face as human beings.
My aim with this series of short stories is to increase representation across the spectrum and show that queer stories don't have to be never-ending cycles of struggle but can also be joyful - a breath of fresh air.
