Hi, my name is Lauren a young writer who writes mostly boy love. Some of you might know me from Tapas via my other novel: Lauren's multiple short novels.

To start this off, Our complicated love story is actually a novel I created about 2-3 years ago. It wasn't a real novel as it was written piece by piece but the main idea was already written.

The reason why I didn't post it before is because of the topic of this story, fear of judgement, maybe lack of time, motivation and lack of originality. Being original is important to me but unfortunately, you can't always be 100% original.

Besides this, I am glad to say I feel ready to share my novel with you all. I know that my novel may interest some of you sense it might be something a lot of people love, all of your likes are mixed in one novel so that's also a reason that motivated me into posting this for real.

Even though I am in my most important school year, I have found the time to be able to write this novel for you guys.

A few months ago I was having a rough time with writing and motivation. Then 2 months ago I started writing regularly again with some short stories. The good news is that I felt comfortable writing them, confidence coming back too and I had fun writing them.

It's then why I can finally post Our complicated love story because I know that I'm ready and I feel confident enough to write a full novel again.

Here is the description of the novel.

Desciption: Warning MPreg! Theo and Nathan have a long history of hatred and it all started the day Theo was the new kid at Nathan's school. Almost 10 years later, now 17-years-old teenagers, they still hate each other's guts with a deep burning passion. It sure doesn't help that they are opposites. Theo is the typical goody two shoes, too close to perfection and Nathan is now a bad boy, too close to a delinquent.  

With fate always seeming to put them together and Nathan having grown feelings, over the years, for the beloved Theo, will something between them develop into something or will they always be too toxic to one other to have a healthy relationship? Follow their complicated love story to know what's going to happen between them.

Contains: A few mature scenes, sexual content, male pregnancy, some mild swearing but it's censored.

Major update of 09/03/23

After changing the whole identity of this novel a year later, I realized that some things weren't clear enough as the novel went on regarding a certain thing in particular.

As you are all new readers probably wish to read this novel and don't know anything other than what is mentioned here.

I'm probably not surprised if it's the aspect of male pregnancy that gathered you all here.

Spoiler alert, as the novel focuses on multiple aspects and some precise too, I realized I never had the chance to clarify anything regarding the details of Theo's unusual condition. So yeah not much will be revealed on how it works.

So I decided to make a 101 of all the questions you might have regarding Theo's condition that enables him to be pregnant.

Why does he have that?: It isn't genetic rather something doctors can't figure out why he has it.

Is it a common thing in this novel?: Not at all! This is what makes it unique. Only 5 including Theo has that condition in this universe.

Was it there since birth?: Yes! But doctors never knew as it wasn't really present. He has a womb-like most girls do.

How did he find out?: Theo noticed towards puberty that he had cramps close to his pelvis and he never understood why. He got checked out and the doctor found out then that he had a womb.

Why did he have cramps then?: The doctors can't tell much but they believe it was because his womb was interacting with other parts of his body that were going through puberty.

Does he have any side effects to it?: Yes, though as of now he hasn't felt them.

As strange as his case is, the doctors found out he can have periods when he doesn't conceive just like the majority of women. Though there's a twist. He only has a period if he has sexual intercourse. If he doesn't then he doesn't have a period.

What happens if he doesn't have sexual intercourse?: Well that part of his reproductive system, stays dormant. His womb entrance closes temporarily.

How can he conceive?: He doesn't have any special area to conceive so yeah a penis would have to enter his ass as ordinary as it sounds.

Even if it's that, his body is always prepared in case it does happen. He always has an ovum in the waiting line. Honestly, doctors haven't found out how in the world an ovum can stay alive longer than it logically can.

By the way, if Theo were to be aroused, the womb's entrance would open to let the penis in, to conceive.

For those who want to know more, the entrance of his womb opens as fast as a guy gets an erection, yes, that fast.

Is there a difference if he were to have sexual intercourse?: No, there isn't any difference. Just the classic sexual intercourse.

So could the sexual partner be able to find out?: This is the imperfection of his condition. Logically the sexual partner wouldn't be able to tell. The womb is completely on the inside.

Even if it's that, they usually don't because they are so focused on the task at hand that they don't realize their penis is hinting at the opening of the womb.

You would have to be really focused on what you are feeling to realize.

Can people with this condition still make other people conceive?: Yes! As people still have their biological male reproductive system, they are still able to make anyone who has the biologically female reproductive system or someone with the condition conceive!

What are the fertility rates to conceive?:

Studies have shown that those with the condition have a higher fertility level to get pregnant. As there are not enough patients with this condition, they don't know how much.

However, they know that the fertility rate of impregnating someone else is generally lower. Even if it's that, people with this condition can impregnate someone else.

Can others without a penis impregnate someone with the condition?: No! All people that don't have a penis can't impregnate someone else.

Lastly, I just want to note that everything mentioned in the 101 is entirely fictional. So, don't take the logic behind it seriously. It's near impossible in reality and it had only been created for this novel.

Ok, this sums it up about this 101 about Theo's condition that enables him to get pregnant.
