Night was what it was right now. Again, the three of us got lost in the amazing night sky and delightful treats from Timeless Café. We’ve been here since we got finished with our classes in the afternoon and now the moon was lit in the sky. This was definitely a sign for us to call it a night.
“Hey guys, don’t you think we should head home now. The sun is very much gone.” I said as I faced the two of them. Kian and Symphony took their eyes off the nightly sky from behind me and looked towards me. “Is it already that late?” they both said in unison. “Jinx” I said with a smile.
“Come on Symphony, let’s go home now. Kian’s got the bill covered~” I got up out of my seat and grabbed her arm to pull her along. She didn’t make any protest as me and her walked swiftly towards the café’s front door. “HEY HEY, the deal was only your bill, Yuca! I didn’t promise to cover Symphony’s too.” Kian yelled from behind.
Turning my head, right before disappearing out the door with Symphony arm-in-arm, I replied “Be a gentleman, Kian. Cover the bill for the lady too”. And with that, the two of us disappear out the door. But right before the door swung closed, Symphony let out a soft yell “Thank you, Kian!”

After Kian paid the whole bill, we all walked home together. We only walked a certain amount of the way before I had to split with Kian and Symphony because I lived in a different direction from those two. We waved and chattered off at the intersection, I went my way and they went their way together.
Thinking to myself. "It was fun today. I mean it’s fun everyday with them. I’m not a very outgoing person nor do I make friends that easily, so I’m really grateful to have Kian and Symphony. They are awesome people, totally different from me. It’s amazing that we eventually became such close friends despite our differences. I hope none of this ever changes because I love how things are now…"
Or so, I thought I wanted it to be.
