(Matthew’s POV)
Gilbert has been getting closer to me and I don’t mind. Because of my shy nature, most people don’t realize I actually exist. But Gil sees me. He saw since the first day. He didn’t think of me as a ghost or phantom of my brother. It makes me really happy to know that.I smiled and closed the notebook. “Hey Birdie, Vhat are you writing?” Gil asked. I chuckled.
“N-nothing Pooh Bear.” I said softly.
“Vhy do you call me Pooh Bear?” He asked.
“Why do you call me Birdie?” I countered. He shrugged. “Because it suits you?? <3” He said, a little ‘duh, Matt’ in his voice. I rolled my eyes and chuckled. He grinned, eyes closed.
“You’re a dork.” I told him, smiling softly.
“I’m yours zhough.”
“Since when?” I asked, confused.
“Since I said so.” He responded.
“Oh, okay, Pooh Bear.” I said sarcastically. He stuck his tongue out at me. I smiled at how much of a dork he was. He sighed in contentment. “Hey Birdie, vould it be okay if I vere to, say, Kiss you?” Gilbert asked. I chuckled.
“What kind of question is that?” I asked.
“Vell, I vas just curious. Because, I mean, um, Just forget it.” He said, blushing.
“Gil, that’s not what I meant.” I replied and kissed him. His blush turned a darker shade of red.
“H-hey. I wasn’t prepared for that.” He said. I rolled my eyes and kissed him again. “You’re going to get it now, Birdie.” He said, tackling me and starting to tickle me.
“HAHAHA, Gil! Stop! Hahahahaha. Gil!” I said, between laughs.
“Nope, you did zhe crime, now you have to do zhe time.” He said.
“P-please, Pooh Bear! S-stop!” I yelled. He did, leaning down to kiss me. “You’re mean Pooh Bear.” I murmured as he flopped onto the floor by me.
“I can be really mean if you vant, Birdie.” He said, kissing me again.
“I want to cuddle.” I said.
“Really Birdie? You vant to cuddle?”
“Yes.” I replied. “I want to cuddle. Maybe watch a movie.” He sighed dramatically.
“If zhat is vhat you vish, Birdie, zhen it shall be so.”
“Shut it, Pooh Bear.” I said snuggling into him.
