This is fatphobic, misogynist trash. I can't read any more of it and I sincerely doubt it's written by a real fat person or anyone who has ever been close to a fat person (not fat like Mina, anyway). Writer, please do some reading on fat positivity and representation because you aren't helping anyone with this comic.. Can you imagine if there was a comic posted on tapas with a gay or trans person talking about how horrible it was to be gay/trans, graphically reliving all the pain of systemic oppression and internalized homo/transphobia for all you straight cis people to voyeuristically gawk at, and then at the end getting some kind of magical conversion therapy? It would have 0 subscribers and be reported in a hot second.
The worst part is that the fat person in this comic is nothing more than a sick plot device used to demonstrate the job of another character. She is not treated as a human being. It is fundamentally not ok to use marginalized people's identities or our pain in that way, and I wont sit by and watch it happen in silence.
