Don't you just hate it when a drawer is jammed, and you try to un-jam it and it results in all the contents of that drawer going everywhere? And Jenny's top drawer is filled with the things I think most of us keep in our nightstands: random papers, coins, paper clips, lube, stale mints, condoms, old keys to doors we don't remember, and hopefully her beloved toy...
Anyway, I'm back from Vegas! Thanks everyone for being so patient during my absence. It was a great trip, but I'm glad to be back. I love traveling, and being able to mix a little pleasure in with the business aspect of the trip is nice, but exhausting. It's good to be working in my cluttered little office, where my coffee is only few small steps away in the kitchen, rather than paying almost $4 a cup for it at the hotel Starbuck's and/or Dunkin Donuts. Vegas is awesome, but the hotel rooms there rarely have coffee makers in them.
A tawdry monster romance in a high fantasy setting.
Jenny/Ghorza, a geeky 29-year-old who dreams of adventures beyond her humdrum life, is transported to a fantasy world like the ones she's spent her whole life dreaming about. There she is captured by mercenaries, but is soon "rescued" by Vargan, the leader and orc king of a raiding band of orcs. Vargan, however, gives her a choice: she can either be released and left to wander the forest of a foreign land alone, or be given shelter and protection in exchange for one thing... she must surrender her freedom as his "human pet."
