I wake up my hands hanging off of my bed, and my sheets crumbled into a ball at the end of my bed. I roll out of bed my feet touching the soft carpet below me.

I make my way to the food car and notice Briar has beat me to the food already filling up her plate with the breakfast food arranged neatly on the buffet.

“Ah, there you are don’t think we were done observing the other tributes yesterday, i still have a lot more a information on the tributes for you and Harl.”

I sighed. The information about the other tributes seemed to take up half of yesterday.

I looked down at the buffet of breakfast food. Different types of sausage, bacon, eggs,and pancakes were arranged onto the large plates. I took one of the smaller plates and scraped some sausage and eggs onto my plate. As I was turning away from the buffet i bumped into Kip and a few pieces of eggs slide off of her plate.

“Hey!” Said Kip.

“Oh I’m sorry”.

“What did you say?”

“I said im s-”

“Did you hear that Pona she just insulted me, do something!” Pona walked up behind her and took her by the shoulders and mouthed the words “Sorry” to me, and then guided Kip back to their table. Briar approached me and whispered in my ear. “See crazy.”

“Now sit down and eat while I tell you about the other tributes, I’ll go get Harl.”

I sat down at one of the tables with Harl and Briar.

“Alright” Said Briar folding her hands together.

“The only ones left are the careers really”

“Flax Overwillow District 1, Vim Mintleaf District 2”

“Pelle Stoneberg District 8, Dazzle Farrock District 9 and Hazel Brightbrook from District 2”

I shifted my eyes over to the careers, Dazzle had bright sun yellow hair and Hazel had her thick brown hair tied back.

My eyes darted back to Briar when she started talking again

“Oh also one more person” Said Briar out of the blue.

“Ellie, from District 18”

“Lets just say, she seems determined to kill every tribute, with somehow no alliance.” Briar continued as she narrowed her eyes at Ellie from across the room.

“And that’s all?” I replied.

“All the tributes you guys need to worry about” Briar answered.

Pixie entered the room

“All right guys!” Pixie exclaimed

Pixie came skipping up to our table. “Briar but what do I say when-”

As usual before I could finish Pixie dragged me and Harl away by the arms.

Briar gave me a little sarcastic wave before I was taken into another room.
