Addison fell to her knees, sweat pouring off in all directions.
“Running, from, the hunters, was not, what I had, in mind, for a, romantic, date night, you know?” she gasps, glaring at the man next to her, who, annoyingly didn't even look out of breath.
“Well it ended with you on your knees, so I’d say it worked out all right.”
She gathered enough energy to look up at him.
“You are a fucking prick, Brian.”
“I'm so injured that now I cant make up my mind whether to kiss you or shove you off that bridge.”
He just gestured dramatically into the distance, at the runes of a bridge that would have been grand, before the fall.
“Can I choose.”
“No.”
“Well fuck you.”
Addison began rolling in the direction of the bridge. At the rate she was going it was going to take her the rest of the night and half of the day tomorrow to reach it. Also, she would have probably been killed before she even got anywhere close to it.
“Ugh.” Brian sighed and picked her up. “I said that you don't get a choice in the matter.”
“I will punch you if you even get your face close to mine.”
“Fine.”
“Good.”
Finally, Brian smiled a genuine smile, no sign of his earlier smirk. “Wanna go out again tomorrow?”
“No.”
