"Hey, watch it!" He yells, laughing profoundly as I continue to pick on him and, dare I say, his hair.
"But it's so soft. What the hell do you put in here?" I asked, his hair was really soft.
He puffed a breath of air and swatted my hand away for, what seemed like the 1000th time.
"Why are you so interested in MY hair, you already have a head of wonders on your head." He said smugly, crossing his arms, looking away smirking.
I gasped, flicked my hair and gave him a playful glare. "How dare you, my hair is the definition of perfection." I smiled, as did he.
"You need a mirror then." He said, turning back to the screen which was causing many noises, one being the shooting of a gun.
We had been playing Call of Duty for about 3 hours now. I was dreading the moment when mother came home. Bright lights came through my window. Shit.
I looked a Church Boy who was too distracted by the screen that he never even noticed the lights. I crept by him, muttering that I needed to use the bathroom. He said okay and yelled at the TV as he died once again. I chuckled slightly.
I crept downstairs and watched at my mom came in the kitchen door, thankfully alone.
"Honey I- oh hey sweety. Have someone over?" She asked, clearly hearing, yet another, loud yell from upstairs. Damn it Pinny.
I looked at her and she smiled. "Ya, that kid I got into a fight with." I rubbed the back of my neck. Sweat?
"Can I meet him?" I saw the glint in her eyes.
I immediately jumped when another voice entered the bunch.
"Hey, I'm gonna get a drink my throat-"
He looked at me, then her, then me again. Then smiled. "Bathroom, huh?"
I chuckled. What the actual fuck heart, slow down.
"I'm Pinny." He said, giving a warm smile as he extended his hand. She smiled and then gasped as she looked at me with a look I could only describe as surprise mixed with confusion.
"This is the kid that beat you senseless? Jesus son, I raised you better than that." She looked at Pinny up and down, seeing the cross necklace that hung on his neck.
She scoffed. "I'm going out tonight." She said, pushing Church Boy out of the way. My nerves spiked.
"Be good. I mean it." She looked at me with stern eyes. Then smiled and said a quick goodbye before leaving out the door.
Pinny kept looking at the door, rolled his eyes and said, "Your moms a bitch."
I broke out laughing.
