“Look at that girl, why is she snooping around the literature club after Jace and Oresa went in?” The three of them were heading to the lockers when they saw the black-haired girl with eyeglasses walking around in circles in front of the literature club room.
“I don’t really care about her.” The blonde spoke with an annoyed tone.
“Of course you don’t care; all you care about are boys.” The tall one said.
“Oh don’t be such hypocrites, don’t we all?” The third one said. She twirled the ends of her short wavy raven hair which had pink highlights. They finally reached their lockers that stood next to each other’s.
“Eeeeep. Zachary Marte just winked at me.” A blonde girl spoke. “He really just did!!”
“Bish, I knew it. You’re still so into that guy.” The tallest one said. “Why don’t you ask him out? He’s single isn’t he?”
“But I’m sooo shyyyyy~” she said, her hands were at her cheeks as she fluttered about. “Also, he keeps hanging out with that nerdy girl.”
“Well it doesn’t matter. He’s good friends with Jace Tertullian, which makes them the hottest double in our school.” The third one spoke.
“Good afternoon ladies!” Zach greeted as he approached them.
“Good afternoon Zach~” they chorused.
“Ah, have any of you seen Rosie?” He asked as he scratched his head, looking around the locker area.
“Haven’t seen her.”
“Nope.”
“Same.” They answered.
“Hmm… that’s too bad then. Thanks anyway~”
“Wait, you’re leaving already?” the blonde asked, she was almost teary-eyed.
“Yep, I need to find Rosie.” He answered. “I spend too much time training, playing games, and doing other things so my parents worry if I can manage to reach my senior year. It’s a drag but I need to be tutored.”
“Oh..”
“It sucks, right? I’m so uncool.” Zach flashed a huge grin.
“No you’re not uncool~” the three of them said.
“Thanks, I know you girls don’t want me to feel bad. I appreciate it haha.”
“You girls found Zach.” Thelea said, joining in on them.
“Hi girlfriend~” they all chorused and each kissed Thelea by the cheek as a form of greeting.
“I’ll borrow Zach for a while, okay?” Thelea showed an intimidating grin; and the three silently left after waving goodbye to Zach. “Hi Zach.”
“Yo, Thelea.” He greeted back. “What’s up? And where’s your new boyfriend?” Zach grinned.
“Unfortunately, Jace is not my boyfriend; at least not yet. How about you, what’s with you and that Rosie? I must know.” She flipped her curly hair back and struck a pose, waiting for an answer.
“I hate to disappoint, but as I just told your friends, Rosie is just tutoring me. Anyway, how have you been, still gossipy?”
“I’d like to refer to is as ‘being updated’.” Thelea replied. “How have you been?”
Zach’s smile faded. He looked away from her. “I’m doing well, thanks.”
“Hmmkay.” She said after a long pause. “This Irsa thing is interesting, isn’t it?”
“Yeah.”
