“Bro, can you gimme some pointers on how you were able to gain popularity in just a day? I could use the attention from all those girls.” A random guy from the hallway asked Jace. “There’s not much difference in our level of coolness and of being good-looking so maybe I have a shot at it as much as you did.”
“I’m sure we both know that this is all because of Thelea.”
“Man that sucks, I don’t dig that chick. She’s too much for me, not worth all the hassle.” Hearing that from someone made Jace feel bad about what some people think about Thelea.
Despite her immense influence and popularity, some people still misunderstand her… Jace was one to talk since he regarded her as someone who was a tattletale, but perhaps there was more to her than meets the eye.

“How’s the life of the famous holding out for you?” Classes were already over for the day when Rosie came to Jace’s locker. “Let me guess, your social circle widened after the bomb Thelea set off for you?”
“Oh, hi Rosie.” He greeted nonchalantly as he stuffed his thick books back in his locker.
“I’m surprised you still remember who I am. I was half-expecting that you’d have forgotten me by now.” The brunette slid her glasses up the bridge of her nose.
“Don’t be silly, you’d ‘slap me senseless’ if I did that.” Jace jokingly said.
“How’s your search for that maiden whose heart you caught?”
“I think the possibility of finding out who she is, is the same as the possibility of you failing an exam.”
The brunette smirked, “That doesn’t sound good for you then. But I think I can help you with that.”
“Help, how?” Jace asked.
“Hmm, I have a lead for you. I remembered something about that letter, there was something different about it, I mean aside from the cutouts.”
“Do I get to hear this lead of yours?” He shut his locker and turned to face the glasses-girl.
“Yes, but I have a small favor to ask of you.”

“Hi Jace.” Someone greeted. “On your way to the literature club?”
“Oresa, hello.” Jace stopped in his footsteps and replied, mildly surprised. “I rarely see you in school.”
“Yes, probably due to the fact that I’m quite busy most of the time; mainly because of Student Council activities and also because I’m planning to run for presidency next semester.”
“Oh wow. Good luck with that.” Jace said. “You were always set out to do great things, even when we were little. Well, where’re you headed though?”
“Same as you, to the literature club. I’m good friends with one of the members there. I think you’ve already met her.” The red-haired girl grinned. “Well, with regards to the night you paid a visit at my house, here’s the list of enrollees.” She handed him a small folder.
“Thanks a lot.” He said, scanning through a lot of names in the list. When he looked up, Oresa was smiling genuinely and her lovely red hair made her look like she was burning of happiness. It was a magnificent sight that disturbed Jace.
“I-Is there something wrong?”
“Not really.” Oresa said. “It’s just nice that we’re talking to each other again, even after that incident a couple of years ago.”
“You…you still remember that?!”
“Haha, so you still had it in you to act adorable like that.” She said teasingly.

“Hi Oresa!! You came to pick me up~” Asari enthusiastically said, diving into a hug with the redhead. When she realized that her friend wasn’t alone, she immediately let go of her and almost whimpered in embarrassment. “S-Sorry… h-hi Jace.”
“Yo, Asari.” Jace greeted.
“W-What are you guys d-doing here? A-And you’re together too…” Asari was looking away when she asked.
“We bumped into each other on the way here.” Oresa said. “It was purely coincidental.”
Jace looked around. There were a few other girls who were in the literature club room. Most of them were whispering at the sight of him and Oresa arriving together while some couldn’t care less and were preparing their things.
“Well.” Jace handed her a piece of paper. “A friend told me that this paper is special. And that in the town, only the school’s literature club orders it especially from an outside source.”
“T-That’s true… we use that for… w-well we sometimes do calligraphy a-and other random activities to f-further our love for literary a-and artistic works. B-But why do you have something like this—ehh??” Asari opened the paper and realized that this was the source of all the commotion about the guy standing a few feet from her. It was Irsa’s love letter.
“T-This is… this letter…”
