Three girls were chatting about the most common topic in school that day.
“Hey, isn’t that Jace Tertullian?” the tallest one spoke.
“Yeah! I recognize him from the photos… Now that I think about it, he actually looks good. I wonder why I haven’t noticed him before?” said the blonde.
“Must be because you’re so into that redhead, Zachary.”
“I-I’m so not!”
“Anyway Jace is kinda cute but also gives off a hot feel to him.”
“Mhm, it’s like cool meets nerdy type. He’s quite tall too.”
“Ehhhh did you see his other picture at the beach? He has awesome abs, I wanna eat him up!” the third girl squealed. “Or maybe poke those nicely-toned muscles.”
“He must have gotten it from his part-time jobs he worked at last semester.”
“Yeah. I don’t care much about those though, what I care about is that he looks good in that v-neck shirt today. Effing sexy. Pink actually works well with his hair color~”
“But what really got to me is that he was working so hard trying to find out who that Irsa person is. I mean that’s just got to be soooo sweet! Guys would normally just ignore something like a love letter because they’re jerks.”
“Oh my gosh! He’s heading this way!! What? Who’s that bish walking with him?!”
********************************************************************
“S-Sorry you had to carry all those.” Asari apologized. “Mr. Hallor need those materials for his class today. Nise wasn’t available and I…I’m too weak to c-carry that heavy box full of papers a-and modules.”
“It’s alright. Having someone to walk with while all those eyes are on me somehow gives me comfort.” Jace sighed. “I don’t know if I should be happy or sad about this but it’s definitely bothersome. Maybe I should just stop looking for Irsa.”
“E-Ehh? But it’s…kinda nice of you to do so. W-Wouldn’t it be great if you get to meet someone who likes you?” the pig-tailed girl with yellowish-brown hair asked.
Jace paused as he remembered Rosie’s words yesterday which were similar to what Asari just said. “To be honest I don’t know how I would react.”
“Really? Why? I-If you don’t mind my asking…”
“Well I don’t want to sound like a hypocrite or what. That’s just so uncool. I don’t want to say how I would think I would react especially if I’m not really sure about it, you know?” He put down the box of stuff on the teacher’s table.
Asari shook her head.
“Hi~ Jace!” A familiar voice came from the back. “Ew, why’re you hanging out with this library geek? Anyway. How’s the douse of popularity?”
“I’m honored.” He said with sarcasm. “I told you not to tell people about it.”
“I couldn’t help it, okay~ besides this might actually help you find that Irsa so you should be thanking me.” Thelea grinned.
“E-Excuse me I need to be g-going now. Thanks again for your help J-Jace…” Asari looked like she was about to cry from shyness or whatnot. She ran away to her next class.
“Yo~” Zach ran into them. “You guys sure are enjoying yourselves, even in school.” He teased. “And you, Jace, you sneaky lil’ bastard. You’re so popular now I don’t even know what to say. Irsa letter huh? Really, good job there.”
“How about congratulating me?”
“Nah.”
“Fine, how about lending me your limited edition White Shores CD?”
“Sure, I was gonna lend you that anyway.”
“Cool.”
“H-Hey! Hello? I’m still here you know.” Thelea sharply spoke.
“Hi Thelea, you sure have been busy last night. I saw those pictures and I almost puked in horror.” Zach then turned to the Jace. “Well, good luck findin’ that girl, mate. It’s interesting how you’ve already got a lot in your plate in just one day. Well, as usual I need to run off to class. See ya later, you love birds.”
