“Oh my gosh, why don’t you girls believe me! I totally saw her photo years ago; she did not have something THAT big before. I’m telling you, she had those done by her uncle who’s a plastic surgeon.”
“Boo, Thelea~ you’re really so good at this. How come you know so many things about people?” someone asked.
“Heh, I take pride and devote myself to knowing what I can and sharing it with others too.” The blonde giggled in response.
“Uh, hi. Can I talk to you, Thelea?” Jace butted in. He stood in front of the blonde that Rosie pointed out, only to realize that now he was in the center of all the other girls. Some them looked shocked with his invasion of their ‘private space’; others giggled and pointed at him. He felt blood gush to his cheeks but he casually shook it off.
“Jace Tertullian.” She said, batting her eyelashes slowly with each syllable. She took a small black notebook from her shoulder bag and casually went through the pages.
“Yah that’s me. Could I have a moment with you please?” he asked. She was still going through her notebook.
“Junior. Likes playing videogames and watching sports league stuff. Good friends with Zachary Marte. Not popular but also not a loser. Looks are not too bad.” Thelea mumbled to herself.
“I can hear that you know.” He said with a low voice. That’s what people think about me?”
“Oh hi!” The blonde spoke; pretending not to hear what he just said. She flashed a big smile at him which did not seem genuine. “I’ll need to wrap up some things here with my girls so I’ll get back at you in a few.”
“Sure, I’ll be at the other side of the lounge.” He informed her.
“Oh no no no. That simply won’t do. How about Freddie’s in 10?”
Jace suppressed a frown. He would have to postpone his digital adventures in the land of yore this afternoon, but he should not be complaining because he wanted this; he wanted to know more about the letter and the person who wrote it. “Meet ‘ya there then.”

Zach paid for his to-go drink, then sipped from the mango shake in his hand. He was about to leave Freddie’s when he saw a familiar face.
“Yo Jace what’re you doing here?” The red-haired boy asked the coffee-haired one.
“Hi Zach.” Jace greeted. “Not much. On your way home now?”
“Yeah, fancy seeing you here. I thought you’d be blasting off to your ol’ room to continue your fight with the grim elves.” Zach was about to sit with him when he noticed anxiousness in his friend’s eyes. “Hmm, meeting up with a girl?”
“Something like that, but not really.”
“Well that’s good for you mate! My buddy’s all grown up now, goin’ in dates and all.” Zach laughed while patting Jace’s shoulder.
“Zip it, Zach.”
“Heh, well I’m be taking my leave now~ I don’t want to disturb you on your date. But seriously, if it’s a first date it’s usually a good idea to take her somewhere fancy. It makes ‘em happy you know?”
“Yeah yeah, whatever.” Jace said. “Oh, Rosie said that you should call her, something about a tutorial.”
“Oh crap!” Zach swore. “I gotta go now, see ya later!” He ran swiftly, as if in panic.
“Why was Zach Marte running away? I must know.” A female voice spoke. “What would make someone as cool and collected as him run like a little boy?”
Jace ignored her question. Someone who was waiting tables approached them and asked for their order.
“Order up, it’ll be my treat. I need to ask you something though.” Jace spoke.

“Knows how to treat a lady on their first date.” Thelea mumbled as she scribbled something down in her black notebook.
“This isn’t really a date, you know. Anyway, do you know her?”
Thelea took a scoop from her strawberry parfait. She gave off a sigh of relief; ice cream is the best during hot days.
“Irsa. I haven’t heard of anyone named Irsa… but hearing that, you don’t regret treating me this lovely dessert right?~”
“Are you sure about this? You don’t know anyone named Irsa? Or any name that has –irsa in it?” Jace crossed his arms.
“Why are you so bent on knowing this person?” The blonde spoke. “This is soooo noteworthy because according to my data, you’re not the type of person who’d go as far as talking to someone like me for stuff. I must know! Why is it so?”
Jace sighed and handed over something to her.
