Episode Recap:
The maid answers the door when Xander knocks. Grant starts arguing for Xander to treat people better, but it doesn’t work, and the maid is reduced to stutters as Xander complies. Grant resolves to hire better people and make them do more on the job training. Xander, however, is perfectly pleased to scare poor Beverly the maid witless. Inside, there’s our boy, the suave, plush Swordfish, who is guarding the door and now he’s stumbling through a status update for Kore. While Swordfish is imparting the necessaries, Xander telekinetically opens the door to peek inside, because he’s trying to leave fewer fingerprints on stuff ie. palace cleaning problem. Grant totally misses this and complains at him. Xander brushes him off. As the door opens Xander gets hit by some psychic wave or blast of something and it obviously affects him and only him. After recovering, he invites Grant to come and look inside the door to see how Kore’s doing.
So, the general is not part of the Feds, but rather Eugene's butler. This is rich. I admit I snickered. Ok, well there isn't anything much to comment in this chapter besides my excitement of finally seeing Kore and the fact that Eugene seems to be a little obsessive compulsive about cleanliness, or as you mentioned, his fingerprints. Let me take a big breath, keep it in my lungs and move onto the next chapter. We are finally there, Jean. We are finally there!
