Rivers POV

This cave is so big. I wonder why Shadow wanted to stay outside it's so cool and warm in here. Plus West is a great hunter if not the best but he said Shadow was the top hunter in the pack. He also said that Shadow was the next alpha but lost the title when he left with us. Which kinda sucks a wolf should love to have that title. West started to walk out to get Shadow and I followed.

“Shadow come in and sleep,” I said

He turned fast “Oh...um I'll be in soon”

I smiled and sat by him “Whats wrong?”

“It smell smells like a lot of wolve pass through here all the time it doesn’t feel safe” He explained

I laid down close but not too close to Shadow. He shifted and was tackled to the ground hard by a huge wolf.
